About Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System
The Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System (WCHS) is committed to fostering a healthy community for indigenous populations in the Winnebago area. This organization offers a compassionate and culturally-centered approach to healthcare, providing a range of services including an acute care hospital, a primary care clinic, and various prevention programs tailored to the needs of its patients. Reviews highlight positive experiences with the emergency room, where patients appreciate the care received, even if there were wait times due to prioritization of more urgent cases. One patient expressed gratitude for the provider's skills and clear communication, stating that the experience restored their hope for better health. Additionally, the dental services have received praise for their quality and care. However, some reviews point out concerns regarding feelings of unwelcomeness among certain indigenous groups, citing instances of negative remarks from individuals associated with the Winnebago community. Despite this, the overall sentiment emphasizes the hospital's dedication to providing quality care and support for its patients.

Very nice hospital we were just at dental and was treated very good...so far. I wish all our facilities can offer services like this place.

The workers there were great, except some workers and patients who happened to be Winnebago. I'm Navajo and I've heard so many racist remarks from the Winnebago and Omaha tribes towards other tribes. I didn't not feel welcomed in the Winnebago community.
