“Forgot to tighten my lung nuts on new tires, drove all the way to SF bf I noticed. Could have been a nightmare. I went to the one in SF, and they put the wrong tire on my front wheel, and my back tires are 3 sizes wider They put the back tire on the front, and the tires were clearly marked, I bought 4 new tires, and they were marked front left ect... And the put a size G on the the front, what a nightmare the whole car shook. When I went right back after I pulled out, they had closed, I had to call them. Bc I couldn't drive it home that way. So maybe it's just Graham Tire in general. Or I just have bad luck with them.”
“My family and I were traveling to the Badlands National Park and on our way we noticed the AC kept switching to the defrost on our 2004 E450. I called Michael with Downtown Automotive and he told us to stop by and he'd have a look at it. It didn't take long at all for him to find the issue. Just so happens he had the parts to take care of our problems. Michael had us back on the road in no time flat with great customer service and very fairly priced repairs. If I was ever in need of automotive help and was close to Crofton, I would definitely stop by again! Thanks again for the help Michael!”

“On Monday I drove up to Yankton from LaVista, NE to have Dean install a winch, bumper, and lights on our new 4Runner. Not because it’s something he does everyday, but because he knows I have a spinal cord injury and there was zero chance I could do it on my own.
Before our 4Runner ever showed up I shot him a text to make sure he could help me out. He was 1 of 1 on the list of folks that I’d trust to cut the front bumper apart on a vehicle a month old.
Of course everything turned out great. We all know that from the other reviews.
What you don’t know is that while I was in there on Tuesday morning an elderly lady stopped in with a check engine light. Dan asked her a couple questions then grabbed the scanner to see if it was serious enough that she would need to leave it. After a few minutes they came back in and made an appointment. Rather than scaring her he reassured her it was nothing too serious.
After she left San said he hadn’t seen her before. Her husband had been coming in for years but he recently passed sway. This was the first shop she thought of.
In a day and age filled with folks that will take any advantage they can they chose to help without even knowing who they were dealing with.
While I was in they worked with folks wearing suits, businesses that used their vehicles as tools, and folks that didn’t speak much English. They were all treated the same.
This is the type of business that not only does a fantastic job at reasonable prices they also are an institution in the Yankton community.
You won’t be disappointed with their work.”
