Hard to buy stuff when the Employees are to busy chatting outside. They were outside when we got there and literally right as we were walking up to the counter to check out they went out again. We waited a while before deciding to go elsewhere.

Tuesday, March 19th, 2025, York, Nebraska had a pretty wild blizzard. Entire town lost power for about 9+ hours. I was without power from 6am to 330pm. An hour after power was restored, and out of all the major businesses in York, Walmart, Dollar Fresh, Grand Central, including gas stations were all closed EXCEPT Dollar General. DG came in CLUTCH for restoring their power AND opening their doors, AN HOUR after power being restored! Talk about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Thank you to the lady's/workers for being super patient and allowing their community to come in and get what we needed during such a harsh nature! Thank you!
And thank you to every single person who helped the customers get out from being stuck in the parking lot due to the snow and ice! So rare to see a community get together and help one another! Beautiful community.

Will you had a sign on your door saying that you were temporarily closed then today you had on your website that you are open tried to call you guys three to four times this morning not very happy so if it says you're open but then you actually had a sign saying that you were temporary closed. Then are you open today but then I've tried to call you. And nobody picked up. Sorry for me being rude if I was.

It's an older store with a variety of things to choose from. And for the most part everybody that works there's pretty nice

Tried to look at a prepaid cell phone..was told I wasn't allowed to read the box or hold it ..which is ridiculous..how do I even know what card to buy with it or even see the phone..and then he wants to give me an attitude.. 5:30 Aug.25,2022..

They do not offer curbside pickup. In case someone at this establishment hasn't realized, there is a global pandemic happening. In a town with rapidly increasing cases, not offering curbside pickup is atrocious, and selfish.
