The folks at The Flower Box provided excellent service. The patriotic wreath we ordered for a funeral was beautifully done! At the time of ordering I did not know all the details of the service. These people took it upon themselves to find out the service times and got the wreath in place earlier than previously thought. Thank you! I highly recommend The Flower Box!

I didn't actually go to the shop. I called from another city to order a plant.The lady was wonderful on the phone and knew what to send. The plant she picked was perfect for the funeral.

I've struggled for over two weeks to write this review, because I didn't know if my experience was a typical representation of this business. I visited The Flower Box around 3 p.m. on a rainy Wednesday to order a bouquet of cut flowers for a special occasion. I asked for a bright and happy bouquet, with no particular flowers or colors required, to be delivered 10 miles away the following week. The delivery cost was $12. The cost of the arrangement and vase, with delivery and tax, was just under $95.On a positive note, the woman at The Flower Box who took my order was very nice and helpful, and she asked questions about the occasion, etc. The arrangement also arrived at the delivery point exactly when promised.On an odd note, it was a bit dark in the shop and there were no fresh flowers in the refrigerated case or elsewhere that I could see from the counter/cash register. This isn't typical in other floral shops I have patronized but maybe there was a legitimate reason for this business to not have anything up front or on display.On a negative note, I felt the floral arrangement was disappointing for $95. Actually, I thought it disappointing for $75. Upon arrival the three roses in the bouquet had brown tips on the petals; and when I saw the bouquet in person 24 hours after delivery, the snapdragons and sunflowers were completely limp. Five days later, the only flowers still blooming and upright were the carnations and all the white lilies that hadn't opened up when it was delivered.I order flowers for people maybe once every couple years, and I'm certainly no floral connoisseur. There wasn't anything amazing or unique about the arrangement, nothing that you made you want to call the florist and ask what kind of cool flowers they were; it was just some pretty flowers that the average person could identify. Maybe I'm just cheap, but when you looked at the flowers, you really didn't think they look like $95. Yes, they were pretty, and the person receiving them thought they were pretty, and I suppose that's all that matters.I asked other florists about the arrangement after showing them photos, and they guessed $60-65 before tax and delivery, but they didn't think the flowers should have been brown or wilted so soon after delivery.Will I order from The Flower Box again? Maybe. Maybe I won't be ordering flowers from anyone so I'm not disappointed.

Ordered mothers day arrangement to be delivered on 05-05-2022. My mother said they never came. Had to call and was told they couldn't fulfill order because they were too busy. No call, no text and no email. Was told it was the online company's fault. Called Petersons Petals in York right away and they fulfilled the order.

Ordered flowers a few days before Valentines Day. Asked very kindly if it was too late and was told "oh no, we can handle this no problem". My daughter attends college there from out of state. I thought by going to a local florist I was doing the right thing. Talked to my daughter at 6:30pm her time...she had not heard a word from them. I called the store and they had no idea where the flowers were and could not guarantee they were delivered. They asked me to call back in the morning since they were officially closed for the day. So I called to speak to the owner today, and unfortunately all I got were excuses and blame for not giving her my daughters phone number...which later she realized I had. I ended up calling Petersons Petal Co. They were amazing and assured my daughter got flowers within an hour of my phone call even though I called them after they closed. I DO NOT recommend this flower shop!

Order flowers and they can't fulfill flowers ordered. Very poor accommodations offered to accommodate flowers for my wife's birthday. Only thing they did is email saying order canceled. Why ask for phone number for issues if won't call. WILL NOT ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN EVER.

This flower shop is awesome. First the product is extremely beautiful. The women that run this business put hard work into everything and it shows. Second thing is that the pricing seems really fair. I will always go here for my floral needs.

Ordered flowers for my ailing aunt. Just saw a picture of them from a friend and they did a very nice job. Very pleased with the service and flowers.
