THIS IS A LONG ONE SO BE PREPARED.
Super irritated. The reason for the 2 stars is because they were able to help me in my time of need of needing my brake pads put on and found another severe issue with my vehicle (CV shaft boot was obliterated) and fixed it promptly. Charlie was great to me, he's friendly and always accommodating. HOWEVER, I recently brought my vehicle in due to a rattle in the front end. We took it on a drive and the tech was able to hear the rattle. Awhile later they pulled me into the shop and showed me what was wrong... i said okay, put together an estimate. The estimate was $5510... they said I needed: front shock/strut assemblies, front sway bar links, new ball joints and control arms and tie rod ends. I was really shocked at this estimate because I do take great care of my vehicle. I got a second opinion from the Automotive Department Head at SCC in Lincoln, he confirmed that I did need from struts but the rest of the estimate was BS. I was shocked and a little concerned because it was opposite of the estimate from Penners. So, I took it to a third facility to get another opinion. AGAIN, They called BS on most of Penners estimate, they did agree that I do need front struts and then said Penners probably just threw everything they could think of at the rattle. Not only did the third shop call BS on Penners but they found the culprit of the rattle. It was the bolt to the CV shaft that Penners replaced, it was loose and rattling when I hit potholes in Lincoln. So TWO facilities called BS on Penners and their $5510 estimate. I'm super disappointed in Penners and they've lost a customer. Could you imagine if I had just taken their word and found a way to fix all these parts that didn't need fixed? Do yourself a favor and always get a second or even third opinion!!

The guys here are great!! I was in the process of driving from Utah to Illinois in my 95 K/C 1500 pickup (fully packed as much as was possible) and my fuel pump went sour on me. They gave me the price and the wait time. They allowed me to go grab a blanket to make the wife more comfortable while she slept on their couch (a frickin couch dude like that in itself is just awesome) and when all was said and done we were able to hit the road like nothing happened

Our experience with Penner’s was exceptionally good! We had a flat at the York exit & they aired us up to get into town. Service was fast & friendly, price was reasonable, waiting area was clean & comfortable. We were so thankful to get back on the road quickly!

Took my suv in for an alignment and was told that too many of my components were worn that they couldn’t even attempt the alignment. It had drove fine (besides the alignment) and didn’t experience any of the death wobble issues they mentioned. They said it needed $2200 worth of work - 25% of my cars value!!! Didn’t seem right so I took it to get a second opinion. They checked it out and only found that my ball joints on one side had some minor play in them. (Which Penner’s didn’t even put on the quote) then they aligned it just fine. Wasted my $50 in a diagnostic fee from penners as well as my time dropping and picking up my vehicle. Others have shared a similar story to mine with me since this experience. Do not recommend!!!

We blew a tire on the interstate on our way home from NE to TX. We were lucky to be only a few short miles from Penner’s. They got us in immediately and switched out our spare for a new tire and we got back on the road very quickly! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The shop is unique and well kept and thank god for the coffee bar

Had a friend who had a flat tire near Waco and called me for help since I was from the area. Called Charlie and he was able to send out a crew to help in very little time. Thankful for hometown relationships and service.
