The Area 51 Alien Center is a unique stop located along a scenic route in the high Sierra desert. Originally built as a gas station in 1945, it became the official Alien Center in 2017, inspired by the mysterious events following the 1947 Roswell UFO crash. Visitors often report strange lights, sounds, and shapes in the area, adding to its alien-themed atmosphere. The center offers a gift shop filled with alien souvenirs, T-shirts, gadgets, and fun items like driver's licenses. The shop also features a sandwich shop with delicious, fresh food, including hot dogs and hamburgers, praised for their quality and flavor. Restrooms, ice cream, and fruit yogurts are available for visitors. The location is convenient for travelers, providing a good pit stop with clean facilities, friendly staff, and helpful service. Staff members are known for their kindness, with one employee especially noted for excellent assistance. For those seeking extra entertainment, there is an attached bar and the nearby Alien Cathouse Brothel for a more adventurous night. The center is appreciated not only for its quirky shopping experience but also as a memorable roadside stop, especially for families and UFO enthusiasts. Overall, the Area 51 Alien Center combines quirky alien-themed shopping, tasty food, and friendly service, making it a fun and interesting place to visit during a road trip.

A neat stop for extraterrestrial fans if you're near Vegas or travelling to Death Valley. Mostly t-shirts here - there's not as much alien memorabilia as the Cowpoke in Rachel, NV but still a cool place!
