Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park is a true hidden gem and very remote park, out in the middle of no-where. It features beautiful scenery, an incredibly beautiful road, and is super quiet and not crowded. Visitors can explore a ghost town and remaining buildings and artefacts via a trail. The park offers very informative self-guided tours with a paper guide, and fascinating fossil tours of ichthyosaur fossils are available, especially in the spring. The staff is fantastic, helpful, and friendly. The place is great, clean, and has beautiful sites for dry camping. It is a great place to hike and explore, with lots of history, and is highly recommended.
