The price alone should tell you what you're paying for. It's a nice area with friendly staff. Saved a lot more cash doing other things and seeing the places the staff recommended 👍

The room was supposedly remodeled. There were still areas that were not finished. The bed was new(according to staff). It must have been the cheapest one. You actually felt the springs and it was like sleeping on a board. They put bed bugs covers on the mattress which was good since one review talked about bed bugs. The cover had a big brown stain on the side. I had to get some new face towels since they were stained as well. The only heat was an electric stove that's remote was missing so it was on high which made the room yoo hot. We slept with it off and woke to an ice cold room. I asked if we could get a remote and the answer was it's lost. There was no ice machine. We were told it was broken but if you look at past reviews it's been broken for awhile. The microwave handle was gone so it was difficult to open. After all our other inquires not able to be solved we delt with it.The location is good for death valley visits and the refrigerator was a nice size and didn't freeze our food but did freeze the ice packs. Those were the only plus in this motel. Would definitely not stay here again.

First of all I stayed in an updated king room. The mattress was FIRM! It was really nice and I did get great sleep. Pay the extra $5-10 a night for the updated room if everyone doesn't like the other mattresses. Neat little hotel with two TV's.... One worked and one didn't. Staff was very friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. I'd stay again! Location is also decent, there are a lot of close places to eat.

Ok first: All those reviews about the beds being amazingly comfortable and people getting the best nights sleep ever have got to be fake.
It’s a motel built probably in the 1950s that hasn’t changed much. The rooms are dated, the shag carpet was kinda dirty, breakfast was a pot of coffee, and the beds are incredibly uncomfortable and sagging. That said the beds, sheets and bathrooms were clean, the room had DirecTv with a decent selection of channels (which is good because at night there’s nothing to do in Beatty except gamble at the casino or go to the bar) and the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very nice.
There are really only a few options, all motels, anywhere near Death Valley. In the future I’d try a different place if I had any other options, but in a pinch it’s slightly better than sleeping in your car.
Nearby activities: Death Valley is about 30 minutes away and is the only reason you’ll likely stay here.

Rooms look old but they are clean! Nice service and there is option for late check in by noticing the hotel. There is plenty of space for free parking

Stopped here for a spur of the moment Death Valley National Park adventure. Loved the retro vibe, very clean room, and friendly service. Bonus for being pet friendly! Walking distance to food and a gas station.
Rooms: Very retro, it may not be everyone's vibe but we loved it!
Nearby activities: Death Valley National Park!
Safety: Felt safe in the area. It was quiet.
Walkability: It's a small town, no worries about lots of traffic or speeding drivers.
Food and drinks: Food and drinks in walking distance.
Noteworthy details: Loved the retro vibe. It was like a movie.

I stayed one night here after a tour of Death Valley.
Very convenient coming from Death Valley, very quiet village and very kind lady at the reception (she advised us where to have dinner that evening and where to have breakfast the following morning and we had a great time in both places).
Very basic but comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, normal bathrooms with tub. In short, nothing was missing. I recommend it for those who want to make a stop in this town after visiting Death Valley.

An establishment that was built in the 50s and continues to look like it was built in the 50s is NOT retro, it is simply old. This place looks and feels old, some might say dilapidated, although the generous word would be vintage. That said, the room was clean, safe and convenient (my minimum expectations). The heater worked fine (cold night) and there was plenty of hot water (maybe too hot, I could sense a scald at times) and very good pressure in the shower. I liked the staff but wish they hadn't sent me to the VFW to eat, that was unpleasant. Smokin' J BBQ looked MUCH better, wish I had gone there.

We stayed at the Atomic Inn for the Witch's Walk. We had an amazing time! Thank you for hosting and we will be back. It's a beautiful out of the way spot and it was a perfect location.

This inn is super cool, and super vintage. It feels old outside and in, but has everything you could need. The cacti and rocks set up out front were a lovely greeting when we arrived, as well as the aliens. The room definitely showed it's age, with wooden paneling for walls and flowers on the ceiling. The inn itself was quiet, and close to plenty of local restaurants. Checking out was even fun, as we spent time chatting with the staff about all kinds of local goodies. Would definitely stay here again.

My brother and I stayed at the Atomic Inn for half a week while exploring Death Valley on motorcycle. The location is great, nice and quiet compared to the other options. Atomic sets the standard on cleanliness. Most comfortable hotel bed I can remember and I slept so good. Brandon at the front desk got me the best room and helped me chill out when I needed it the most on a hot day. The owners treat every guest like family and brew you your own special pot of real decent coffee in the morning. Highly recommend!
Rooms: Comfortable

I've seen much worse motels on my trip to the US.
Relatively friendly staff, nice people, the rooms are a bit dated, but not bad.

Traveling with a 100# Bloodhound can be a challenge. The Atomic Inn staff made it easy. My friend and I prefer staying at smaller independent hotels/motels when possible. After mentioning the size of our dog (pet policy was 40# max) and the fact we were traveling for a dog show, staff checked with the manager and OK'd our boy. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. Room was VERY clean. Beds/pillows were older but did the job. Small fridge, microwave and window AC all worked. I really appreciated the separate entrances. Was very quiet and well lit. We have made reservations to stay here on our return trip.
