The main building room we stayed in was run down. In addition the rooms AC unit was very loud, parking lot stayed noisy, elevator was broken, ice machine was broken, and it just wasn't satisfactory accommodations compared to modern era hotels.I'm going to say avoid Best Western Hoover Dam. Down the road, the Hoover Dam Lodge is much much better from my standpoint having stayed there as well. Sure they may charge for breakfast, but the Best Western breakfast was frozen food/disgusting.

I am going to give a very honest review after 10 days staying at this hotel with my partner. The first night we arrived really late. Check in was easy, but we got a room that was unacceptable for the amount we paid to stay there. The front door wouldn’t close all the way. It was cracked and bent. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, and the shower didn’t work at all. You had to turn the knob completely around in a full circle to get anything to work and then the drain didn’t drain properly. The very next morning we immediately asked for another room and this room was much better. Clean. A door that worked. Had that been the only thing, that would have been fine. However, over the course of 10 days, we did have the following issues which I think do deserve to be highlighted here:1.) we had to get keys several times. No we didn’t put them against our phones, they just wouldn’t work at all. You can tell they are cheap.2.) on several occasions we requested a cleaning and NEVER got it. We had to ask way more than we should have. In fact, our room was never fully cleaned, bedding was not changed nor made up. They just dropped off new towels and picked up bathroom trash. That was it and that only happened after we had to ask over several days which is ridiculous for a long term customer, in my opinion.3.) the dryers do not dry very well in the laundry room. Had to eventually just hang my clothes in my room.4.) hot tub is apparently closed in winter which is not advertised on the website.Overall, the area is safe, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I think there are some major updating that needs to be done to this property and house keeping needs to actually do its job. Personally, it’s not worth what they charge per night. Next time we will be staying elsewhere and we have given a lot of business to this hotel in 2023, but no more.

Avoid! This place is slightly run down and outdated...not like the photos. Front desk and breakfast staff surly and rude. Misleading and false advertising as there is NO INDOOR POOL for much of the year: it was apparently cold and "closed for the season" when we arrived - this is not indicated on the website (plus, isn't the point of an indoor pool so it can be open all year?). Breakfast room ran out of hot make-your-own-waffles by 8:30 AM and when guests were asking about it, the breakfast attendant was loudly dismissive and impatient in her response. Super awkward, grumpy staff and bad vibe

Yup, never had a problem with any best western yet and this is by far the nicest one I've been in yet. Indoor pool is what got my attention.... to bad I didn't bring my swim trunks ?, but it's cool there's an actual restaurant/bar connected to this place and how nice this area is. I'm working out in Vegas for the week but our company put us up in this place for the week and I do like it. Rooms are also nice and my bed doesn't hurt my back like comfort suites did in Bakersfield last 5 weeks of work. So happy and recommend this place to anyone passing through like we are.

Have you ever heard the term "putting lipstick on a pig". That is this hotel. We rented rooms there for our military kid. It's a big hotel in a small town. It was exceedingly run down. The service was horrible and the rooms not much better. The new owners fixed it up a little and put a neon sign out front but the service has never improved.Recently we patronized the restaurant located on the bottom floor. We were unaware the hotel and the restaurant were having some sort of Hatfield vs McCoys feud over unmarked parking spaces. We parked in front of the building like we always do. Hen we came out from dinner the hotel hostess had pasted no parking stickers on our classic and very rare car. When I went to the lobby to see what in the world was going on she went on some kind of estrogen infused rant about snow restaurant parking. That's the final straw. This place sucks. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the other properties in town.

My car broke down, and I waited five hours for a tow. I arrived without a car, without luggage or necessities. The night staff was sympathetic and more than helpful. They had everything I needed for the night, including a power cord for my phone. The morning staff were as exceptional as night, a hot cup of coffee and directions to a store.Rooms: Clean and well managed.

Avoid this location. I am a loyal Best Western customer and this place lives far below their standards. There was an ant infestation, getting up at night to try to use the bathroom you were swarmed and could use it. Also the mini fridge was leaking a fluid. Lastly, the room smelled horrible.

Very clean hotel and pet friendly. Pets get their own goody bag during registration. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Small pet charge, 30$. Great breakfast bowl and coffee. Bed was a little on the firmer side but slept great so obviously not too firm. We would stay here again.Noteworthy details: Very pet friendly, no carpet in rooms, coffee maker, fridge, microwave,

Great place to stay. I will say it was better than the Luxor that I stayed at last year.My only negative experience was that housekeeping wasn't on top of everything we had to ask for them to clean, and the bed was nothing to write home about except for back pain.Rooms: They were better than at the Luxor, mattress needed to be replaced.Nearby activities: There were plenty of places to eat, especially the Tap. A couple of stores near by where you can get your everyday necessities.
