As soon as I walked in, there was an off leash dog wandering around in the waiting room. So, beware of that! I took a day off work to come in for a second opinion. I brought all of my recent labs and x-rays as well as research and opinions from other doctors. The doctor went over all my information and told me he would get back to me. I called a week later to see what he had found. Turns out, he did nothing....didn't even write up the chart!!! My dog is in pain and going here actually pushed our treatment back. I wasted time and money going here! There was literally NOTHING done for me

This place will put your senior dog under anesthesia for an unnecessary procedure. I came in here last week because my dog wasn't feeling well. He was lethargic and not eating. Did the full "senior" blood work everything came back fine. The only thing the doctor noticed was that his tooth was cracked. I scheduled the surgery to have his tooth removed. The day of the surgery i drop him off to have the tooth removed. They call me in the afternoon that my dog is ready to go home and he did not need any teeth extracted. So the only thing they did was clean his teeth. 500 dollars later and he didn't even need the thing i was told by the doctor was going to get done. If i knew he was only going to get his teeth cleaned i would have never brought him in, he's 13 years old he doesn't need to be put under anesthesia at this age.

I loved this place when Dr Flannery was there. The new Vet and staff are not what I would expect from a clinic that I have used for many years. Went in for yearly shots. They took her into the back room to give them. Never even met the new Vet. They didn't bother to come out of the back to introduce them selves. Let alone let me see how they interact with my dog. They charged for a checkup she most likely never got, as well as the shots. I called today for an appointment. My pup has something deep in her foot. They can't see her for 15 days!!! Needless to say, I found a new Vet. If I could give zero stars I would!

I am going to this clinic because I found my vet from years ago, Dr. Dominic Caccioppo. LOVE HIM! I trust his advice and I know he's not out for money. He's also an avian expert!

Great service from caring staff. Our 21 year old Cockatiel passed and the staff were very helpful and sympathetic making arrangements for his cremation and getting us the ashes.

I have always taken my pets to Grateful Pets, Dr Flannery did a great job. We lost our dog a couple of years ago, recently purchased a puppy. I made an appointment with Flannery, I was not told that Flannery had retired. The 3 new visits I have had for Jax totaled $237. without ever seeing a vet.

Don't go here. I was an employee who they fired for my epilepsy. I had one seizure at home and that was it they let me go and even admitted it was becasue of my seizure. I worked at a job for 14 yrs before there with no issues with my epilepsy at all. Idk if they realize they discriminated against me or what. What I do know is what goes on behind closed doors. The place is filthy and the staff does not do what they tell u they will do. It is a rip off trust me from a former employee.

I love the doctor and the staff at Greatful Pet. They aren't the cheapest, but they do take the time with your animals.

Very Disappointed with care at Grateful Pet. I had been going here for many years. It seems to have really lost credibility with me especially this year. My pup was neutered and had complications from day 1. Lethargic, bleeding from rectum and pain. I called each day and on day 3 I took him back to have them check. They gave a medication, said he was having anal gland issues ( which can be a result of surgery) and potentially other issues. They charged me for office visit etc and the office personnel acted as if it wasn't related to the surgery. The pup seemed worse and the next day I took him to a different vet. This vet told me his anal glands were inflamed and still were not emptied. 2 hours later he was a much improved dog. I have changed vets.

This use to be the best place! We have been driving an hour every vet visit over the years just to bring our pups to Dr.D, who sadly no longer works here. He cared, was attentive, understanding and communicated like an actual doctor. The past 3 visits that we have scheduled to have our dog's leg checked up on (she broke her leg) we would arrive and Dr.H (the owner) would tell us to come back Wednesday. After this last visit i said no. Why are we scheduled if the doctor we're suppose to see isn't here. He proceeded to tell me that I'm suppose to request the appropriate doctor. I'm sorry, what??? Your staff should know who to schedule your clients with, sir! Especially since we've only seen YOU for her! The splint in my dogs cast cracked completely in half and fell out if the bottom of the cast (edges were sharp and jagged) 2 days prior to this past visit. Dr.H, the OWNER told me that it is fine and to leave it another 2 weeks. I expressed to him that I was worried that if she jumped and moved a certain way that it would cut her leg. He proceeded to argue with me that she shouldn't be jumping anyway. I said the emergency center said it should've already been rewrapped for sanitary reasons. Continued arguing. I expressed that the cast had been wet, now the splint is broken and I wanted it changed. He said he's seen casts in worst conditions and dogs have come in who have swam in them and they're fine after minutes of going back and forth, he eventually took her back and did place another bandage on her BUT this is what should've been done WITHOUT the arguing with your client. So unprofessional. After I left my husband called and requested that the xrays they took that day be sent over so that we could take her to a vet that actually cares about the animals and can professionally communicate to clients. Whatever Dr H said to his staff after I left put the receptionist in a bad mood apparently. Dr H called to let us know that we were no longer welcome back. What a great DOCTOR you are SMH! Beware when taking your animals here! If you pay for radiology or any kind of expensive procedures, request to see the documents. They will charge you but not even perform them! Sad to see this place go down hill. We won't be back and I advise other people to be very cautious when bringing your pets here.

The UNgreatful pet clinic was absolutely the worst experience so far being a first time pet owner. I had read the not so good reviews and decided to give it a chance to try and keep my business local.... Huge Mistake! The doctor we saw was rude, aggressive, and didn't even sanitize or wash his hands before touching our brand new pup. He also tried to use scare tactics to get us to do more vaccinations than we as first time pet owners felt comfortable with instead of trying to explain why his opinion was different than what we were told by the breeder vet. The vet assistant complained of how hot it was in the back of the clinic, and that is where they keep the animals. I would never want to leave my animal there in that awful hot clinic! The back office should be temperature controlled for the safety of the animals. To top it off the clinic charged us $8 for medical waste.... They threw away 1 needle and charged us $8 for that! That's outrageous! I understand a small charge but when it only costs less than $30 to dispose and ship 300 needles... that is total robbery! The clinic was very dirty and the staff was rude. Definitely not going back and I recommend never taking your pet here, just an awful experience!

Our 2 year old aussie has been going to the grateful pet since she was just a couple days old. We used to see Dr. Flannery and Dr. D. They were amazing. We never had any problems with them. However, at our recent visit, we saw a new doctor who had horrible manner. He told my husband that telling our dog "good girl" when she calmed down was an inappropriate behavior and that she was feeding off his energy. On top of that, he awarded our dog the most difficult dog of the day. Thank you for that award Dr. H. It's time for us to find a new vet that's closer to home.
