I had a few bad grooming experiences in Henderson where too many dogs were booked and it would take 5-6 hours to finish the grooming. We were so pleased to find Ooh La La in Boulder City! Candy, the owner, always greets me with a smile and warm conversation. They never overbook, and my sweet Arnie is normally done with his grooming in an hour-hour and a half. Barb, Arnie's groomer, is the best! She gets so thrilled to see my sweet boy and handles him with the utmost care. He is always so happy to get his grooming and wags his tail in excitement when I mention going to see Barb. This is the only place people should consider in the Vegas area. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

707 Canyon Rd #105A, Boulder CityProfessional Room & Groom came very highly recommended by my Veterinarian Pet Oasis, whom is also amazing!! I was apprehensive about taking my cat Jacob to be dropped off & groomed. He demands to be brushed according to his eating & pooping schedule. He even decides which brush he wants me to use, I love it! ha,ha! When Pearl told me she enjoyed grooming cats it made me comfortable. She also enjoys grooming rabbits! Pearl also explained the grooming process for me & that was a little different. I'm claustrophobic so it was difficult for me to comprehend, but I learned that it did not bother my cat Jacob one bit! He was so happy! Never have I received such a delightful response after taking Jacob anywhere! Even if I stay with him! He usually will turn his back to me & ignore me long enough to teach me a lesson. This was such a welcomed response from Jacob! Jacob went on & on telling me all about his new experience on the way home! He's usually very quiet & afraid on the ride home from going anywhere! Jacob was so talkative this time. I was so pleased to see that Jacob bonded with Pearl & her staff. Jacob was treated like family & I loved that! This time was Jacob's time, not mine! I want Jacob to be happy & treated with love, & he was! I also expect a good groom & my expectations were by far exceeded. Jacob is very much aware when he's looking dashing & he was top cat of the town!
Jaco felt great! He was overjoyed! Jacob loved his spa day & he gives it 2 paws up!? He highly recommends you take your pet there as well. I felt bad that I didn't get him groomed sooner. Jacob did not demand to be brushed for a few days afterwards which was a good break for me. Grooming is a special bonding time for us so I was a little jealous of Pearl! ha,ha jk! I couldn't be more pleased! One of the other groomers came out to tell me how sweet Jacob is. That was worth every cent to me. I rarely leave reviews but I could not believe the reviews from people who were upset because they didn't have a good conversation or they didn't get a smile & the attitude received wasn't what was expected. OMG! Aren't you there for your pet? Grooming our pets is not not a glamorous job & the people who do it definitely are animal lovers, much more than we realize. I had to leave a review because it was an amazing experience & Jacob has been happy ever since. If you were upset with the price you paid, either you don't think your pet is worth the money or you don't think your pet deserves a good groom. It's a wonderful treat, not to mention that it's much needed to keep our pets healthy & happy, which is very important. So rather than take your pet there, take your pet to the backyard, get your hose out & wash your pet yourself. Don't get the treatment done & then go home to defame the business in hopes to get a refund. Time was spent to provide your pet with the best grooming experience ever! And when it's time to schedule, all businesses are run the way they are for many reasons. If you're unable to coordinate the hours with any business, go someplace else! Don't defame the business because they couldn't change the schedule to accommodate yours. It's childish. The world does not revolve around you! One day you'll find yourself saying the same to another person who think's the world revolves around them. it's a rude awakening to learn that it's not how the world turns. I am very grateful for Jacob's experience & for this reason I wanted to write my review with my heart. I wish everyone to have love in their lives. Our pets love us unconditionally. We can all learn a lot from them.

Our birthday girl who is a line cook at a prestigious restaurant on the strip was very impressed which made me happy that I chose well! I do wish the Italian beef roll was on the menu but she was so accommodating to my hot dog preferences & I appreciate that.

Girl working food truck was so courteous and friendly, it was beautiful evening and location was beautiful! We will definitely be back next summer..keep up the great work?

The special I ordered was phenomenal tasting and filling and my server was lovely enough to recommend some local spots to take photos when I asked. Thanks, Southwest Diner, hope you enjoy the photo!

1300 Arizona St, Boulder CityI would give it 6 stars if I could. My family of five came in at 11:42am. We had an appointment that was a 3 minute walk away at 12:15pm. We were greeted and I explained the scenario and asked if it were doable. The server/hostess explained how long each type of thing took to cook, and also what shortcuts could be made (a pasty takes 18-20 minutes in the oven but if cut in half it takes 10-11). We decided to go for it and she sat us and quickly took our order. We ordered: 2 pasties Scotch egg Bread and butter Broccoli cauliflower cheese bake Food all came out fresh, hot, and in a timely manner. She was super on top of it, making sure we made it out with time to spare. I have frequented the OG arts district location and loved it! I feel like I am betraying them by saying that the food here was WAY better at this location. I might just drive out here for my future pasty needs.

I checked out Boulder Dam Brewing Company and it was a solid stop.
The wings came out hot with a good crisp on them and plenty of flavor. Definitely not an afterthought on the menu. The Reuben sandwich held its own as well. Good balance of meat, sauerkraut, and dressing, and the bread was toasted just right without falling apart halfway through.
The atmosphere had that laid back local brewery feel. Easy place to sit down, grab a beer, and actually enjoy your food without feeling rushed.
If you are in Boulder City and want a dependable spot for wings and a solid sandwich, this is worth the stop.
I would come back again.
