Great Basin Foods is a nice little grocery store in the tiny town of Caliente. It is the only game in town for groceries, with broad offerings but not big city variety. The store is priced a little high, but the employees are great, very friendly, and helpful. It is a good place to get your essentials when visiting nearby parks.
Surprisingly good selection, clean store, and helpful staff. Prices are well marked and a few good sales.

This store is above and beyond for a visitor in the off season. The selection is comprehensive and the prices are closer to my multi-box store suburb than gouge town. Bacon for $6 is the same price as where I came from...300 miles away. An amazing store: clean, well stocked, excellent + friendly service.
