How about 14 years ago? I bought so much stuff at this store. Wonderful prices. I just talked with the owner and will help me outfit my new apartment once I moved back to Carson City Nevada. Very good. My name is Fred Garcia of course and I would recommend this thrift store and it's because you can talk with the owner and He will work with you. He will find stuff for you and he will make you happy with any purchase. I'm very happy to shop there again and again when I get back ???☮️‼️‼️‼️

Decided to stop here on our trip to Carson. It was a tad bit overpriced. I found a lot of the stuff from in the store on ebay for $5 cheaper. Which is what I was expecting being a small "thrift/gift" store. It was more of a boutique. My mom and I saw a basket full of records. We were delighted to find a $2 price on one and were optimistic that they weren't too overpriced. After the lady working (I'm guessing the owner or manager) saw us look through the basket for several minutes... She decided to tell us that those have not been processed yet. She said that her dad had not priced them yet but that he told someone earlier that the "Cream" record was $18. Like I get it, but to watch us look through them... and her tone of voice was super rude. My mom put back the cool book we had seen and we decided to leave.

Mike at A to Zen is a great guy. I love what he does for the community. It's not just a thrift store, it is worth coming by to check out what Mike can do for you. If you are a new band go see Mike he can help get your name out there.

If you're looking for a retro beatnik kinda feel music venue with contemporary artists this is your place. Not fancy by any means but a perfect place to practice your musical art. Non judgmental, nice folks, you got the picture. Couches, beer and wine, pizza too. Come by just hear hear the artists. And Carson City has a vibrant and excellent music scene. Open mic on Fridays too. In the thrift store there are wonderful treasures. Very eclectic mix of music memorabilia, fun retro stuff. See ya there!

This a a cool little thrift shop, with a lot of well-kept antiques and typical thrift store fare, but without all the random trash thrown in.However, it is the Friday night open mic that gives pushes this little gem to 5 stars. Family friendly atmosphere, lots and lots of comfortable seating, and a welcoming stage for both beginners and advanced musicians.Do yourself a favor and come listen to the eclectic musicians of your community. Ot better yet, sign up to play and the join the ranks on Friday nights at 6pm.

Awesome place. Not only a shop but great music as well. Check out their open mic nights on Fridays. Local musicians, singer/songwriters, stand up comedy and more. It has to be experienced to understand; like having live entertainment in your living room ^.^

Passed through Carson City and stopped in right after they re-opened from COVID. Very friendly staff, took the time to help me find specific memorabilia which I purchased as a gift for my Dad. They also have a large vinyl record section, and let me tell you, it's ORGANIZED! That is not something you see often in a thrift/second hand shop. If you are in the area, I recommend visiting this great small business!
