Was okay, not the best room but not the worst. Definitely could do with some updates and the cable signal is terrible so you can't really watch anything in the rooms but other than that it was all right I guess

Rooms were cleaned. They really need an update Really bad. walk down to the ice machine. Never had any ice. The office was supposed to open at 6 and opened at 9 instead

Great service from George the nighttime manager. Great conversation, he was kind, down-to-earth and very accommodating. We're towing a long car behind our moving truck and are pretty inexperienced with a dolly between the two of us- so of course I got it stuck in the back of the parking lot with no way to turn around lol. Giving up for the night, we woke up to find that a whole row of large work trucks had each squeezed out from behind our trailer and tow to give us room to maneuver back out to the main road! So incredibly greatful! The room and linens were clean (if with minor stains.) and the AC worked well. Hot water, decent lighting. Very quaint and cozy vibe with eccentric but friendly guests. If you're picky about loose paint go ahead and pay twice as much somewhere else but this is exactly the decent, clean, friendly hotel I would expect for less than $100 a night! Coming back next time I pull through Carson for sure!
Safety: Seems like a quiet, safe area. U-haul was thankfully untouched.

Brown recluse in room tell thay are pet friendly $ 110.00 up charge cash. For dog the worst I've been to and I have been to many. Go next door no up charge don't worry about the crake heads braking in to your car.

(1) The internet they provide is terrible, slow like it was in 1980...
(2) I think George Washington used the sheets... Old, ugly, unpresentable.
(3) The bed had a damaged mattress on one side and was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

One of the managers her name is Ravi or Rabi, very rude and doesn’t help or address problems. Tried to speak over while I was explaining and then called me a liar about bed bugs in the room.
Shane the maintenance came in and saw the bed bugs and apologized and said manager will address your stay in a few days, I waited and no one responded or returned my call. “He lied as well”
Going through a law suit because they didn’t want to own up to what happened and make lies on stories saying it didn’t happened. But my video and proof will say other wise.
Needs new management and someone to invest in the place.

Great place to stay!! The staff is super nice and honestly don't listen to a lot of the bad complaints! There were NO BUGS, the rooms are not updated but, they aren't horrible either. I actually liked the way they looked not updated, it was pretty Retro! You have to think that the price is around 40-60, its not somewhere super expensive like the atlantis in reno! The appliances were definitely new and worked great. To go against what one of the other commenter said, I definitely had enough places to plug things in.
The rooms were really clean and there were no bed bugs. So the cleaning staff does do their job well. The only thing I would maybe work on is the bathtubs, thats literally my only complaint. I could only imagine the cost of that though so I understand why it was not updated. All in all I stayed a week here and the staff was really nice and professional.
I am a dialysis patient and need clean facilities and this place met that. The reviews I have read were a little unfair. I have stayed everywhere from the peppercorn to the Atlantis in reno, I have stayed at harvys in Tahoe. These smaller motels and hotels are always the best. Unless your renting a suite in one of those nice places no one gives a crap about you.
