I've never had any serious issues, they deliver it and thats great. One time had an issue and the call center in a foreign country kept messing it up, so just drove over to the facility and spoke to my delivery guy in person and got it fixed right away.

We own our tank yet after more than two years of service AmeriGas started charging us for it. Pretty poor record keeping and difficult to find a representative who can actually assist with needs.

Ended up with a tank leak after multiple visits of them fixing problems they created with their new monitors and things that were supposed to help track this exact problem. Got locked out of my tank. No propane when my entire house runs on propane. I also run my business out of my house. Was told I’d be getting a new tank on Monday to find out that nothing was put in for that to happen. The best answer I’ve gotten is 72 hours someone will contact me. I can’t even get a direct answer on what 72 hours is for that. My business is losing money over this and cannot go back to proper operations until it’s resolved and I’ve received shoulder shrug answers of I’m sorry to hear that. Zero resolution so far. Plan on leaving the company for propane as soon as possible.

This is the worst company I’ve ever been forced to deal with. My house runs on propane and the previous owners rented the tank from them. I haven’t lived here long enough to consider going with someone else. They charge random fees, admit to charging various amounts to customers in the same area as “common practice”, and outright lie about what’s going on with your account. They will tell you how much propane to order based on your tank level, I ordered over the amount to make sure I was covered, somehow my tank still isn’t full! Makes me wonder if they’re not delivering the amount they claim / I paid for. After having to fill up 4 times in the last three months mostly thanks to their inaccurate estimates and constantly dealing with their terrible call center customer service I finally asked how to terminate my service. The guy verbatim told me “no why would I want to tell you how to move to someone else?” WHAT? I had to tell him he can’t legally keep me trapped into a contract i have yet to renew (I hadn’t paid my tank rent yet). After a few minutes of back and forth he finally told me. Nightmare company , the drivers I’ve spoken to are nice however everyone else I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with are enough to make me switch companies.

Absolutely terrible customer support. Terrible on getting service for broken LEASED EQUIPMENT. RAN OUT OF GAS DUE TO BROKEN GAUGE AND WANTS TO CHARGE 700 to fill it back up? Called multiple times for service on this same issue and nobody came out until completely empty to service - then didn’t bring any fuel. Ridiculous! Go somewhere else for propane these guys are scam artists

Terrible company I’m out of propane currently and submitted the request over a week ago no heat with 25 degree weather this weekend and a two week old baby in the home !!! Managers keep saying they will call me back that was at 9:55 this morning it’s almost 1 pm. Terrible customer service . No follow up or follow through .. hope my pipes don’t freeze

I've been a customer for 25 years and have never had to worry about our propane level. The tank is refilled as needed without any effort required by me.

Totally pleased with service—like that the company is able to keep track of the fuel. Tech was very pleasant, explained/answered questions. Easier to reach someone by phone than in the past. Am older so nice to feel confident about home heating. Thank you. Barbara K.
