I cannot say enough about how thrilled I am with the service we received at bike habitat from Dennis and the gentleman who repaired our bicycle after having taken it to Big Daddy's in Minden who completely failed us bike habitat fixed it. They went above and beyond to make it just right! Then when they helped me load it onto my car bike rack they explained how to use the bike rack and showed me how it was installed improperly by Big Daddy's in Minden. I feel safe I'm confident now riding my bicycle. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are the best! And the prices are very reasonable and the service exceptional.

Amazing service and very fair prices! They don't try to sell you things you don't need. They're really passionate about keeping kids safe on bikes as well. We have a bike shop in Gardnerville and drive to Carson City just because we know that we will get better service. Highly recommend!

This place is terrible, I bought a bike bike but that's not the problem. Whatever I take that bike for my other bikes in It seems like they never want to talk and the main guy is very disrespectful to me and my family. The actual service is expensive not well done and takes way longer than needed to get the job done. I understand that they have a lot of customers but a simple break fix or tire problem. Doesn't need to take a week or two. I won't be here because of those problems I just listed, and they're much better bike shops around town like the bikes and others shops. I forgot to say that the only nice person I've ever talked to there is one of the young mechanics or whatever you call Mike people. Yes, I know a lot of our bikes don't come at me for it. They have also forgot to put stuff back on/in my bike

Denis was a huge help when I needed to service my mountain bike! He was able to get me in the same day for repairs, had it finished so quickly, and all for a reasonable price! I would highly recommend Bike Habitat to anyone

The service at bike habitat is top notch. The tooth technicians I've worked with on knowledgeable and skilled and able to help me with the problems on the fly as I brought them in over the course of several visits. Recently, in August of 2023. There are local dealer for giant bicycles. They have a number of e-bikes. Also many mountain bikes.

I could not find correct tires for my wheelchair, but Dennis found the difficult tire size immediately; tires, tubes, and wheels were delivered, installed, by the next day. The Bike Habitat is the best.

Mechanical breakdown and flat tire , on a Mountain ?️ pass. Luckily ? I limped to Carson city and was fixed up and taken care of by Bike Habitat, Denis Coyne (owner) took time to meticulously go over the bike, now I should be ready for another few thousand miles.

Went in for a common brake caliper spacer and was told it doesn’t exist. After I showed the owner the other 3 I got from another shop he told me to go to Home Depot.I’m not going to put a Home Depot washer on a $15,000 e bike, just cause it’s his first day and apparently he’s never touched an IS mount brake that needs shims. Not only was the customer service bad, but the owner doesn’t know relatively basic tech questions.Edit: it’s not an “uncommon” part. The 203/200 rotor issue has been around for decades and this has always been a common solution when going from 200 to 203mm. Prior to post mound brakes, disc brakes used precision shims to adjust left to right, and every shop at the time had assortments of 0.1mm on up shins. Also, both other shops in town IMMIDiATLY knew what I was asking for, just happened to be they didn’t have as many as I needed.

Third time in, each time was great. Brought the bike in at 10 am for a brake job and new grips, had it by noon and on the trail. Finally found the bench! Dennis and Jeremiah know their stuff.
