The awful awful in Reno was amazing, this one is terrible. The fries were decent(ish).... the burgers were overcooked, the meat was flavorless and greasy. It's definitely no longer "awful big nor awful good". 100% not worth the price. The employees were really nice tho, so there's that....

The Carson City Nugget Casino has, welcoming atmosphere from the staff, ensuring that players feel comfortable and appreciated, though it mostly focuses on slot machines, and very few table games.
The casino has a laid-back and nostalgic atmosphere, perfect for those who prefer a quieter gaming environment.
For as compact as The Carson City Nugget is, they have a
wide variety of slot machines; classic slots, reel machines and modern video slots. They have penny slots and higher-stakes machines for anyone who want to bet higher.
There’s also a good variety of progressive jackpots, that add some excitement for players wanting larger winnings.
The Nugget has an old-school charm, unlike most other modern casinos. They have many older slot machines, which might appeal to players who prefer a more nostalgic gaming experience. For players who prefer the latest high-tech slots, there are a few modern machines available, but the Nugget’s selection of games are mostly for classic slot enthusiasts. The machines are very well-maintained, and payouts tend to be pretty frequent, but just like every other casino, luck plays a big part in the experience.
While the Nugget is known for its slots, it does offer a limited lselection of table games. They have blackjack, poker, and roulette. This limited selection may be a disappointment for anyone that prefer more variety in their table games, but casual gamblers who prefer a more intimate and less crowded setting, the Nugget still offers a cozy and quiet gaming environment.

I’ll agree this place is awful awful. I ordered a new your strip and 99 percent of the “steak” was fat and couldn’t even pull it apart with my hands the waitress was new and went to get me something else then another waitress came out with the plate trying to claim I ate all of the steak I had to peace together the three bites I spit out and show her it was in fact the whole steak then they proceed to mean mug me and walked off I don’t care if you give me 90 percent off I’ll never bother eating here again whoever your buying the meat from is royally screwing you but I’m sure you already know that and want to pass the screwing over to your customers. Do better a lot better. You guys make plenty of money off those slots that never pay out. So do better people don’t go somewhere to be scammed and ripped off. Someone need to call you guys out on your bs. What’s is the RTP on your machines 10 percent?

So, The awful awful burger was iconic when it was located in Reno, NV. Back then it was located at the old nugget casino on Virginia Street across from the old Harrah's casino. That casino and luncheon restaurant was closed after COVID. It was fair, I guess you had to try it.
Well the awful awful burger has reappeared at the nuggets casino in Carson City NV.
Well I had to try it again. A little bit better than the one in Reno. It was juicy on a nice soft tasty bun. Condiments as you like. Comes plain with your choice of veggies and cheese. It was ok again. Meat patties were good quality, no need to add salt. Veggies, tomato, onion slice and lettuce were fresh, and again I was offered bottles of mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise.
Fries were nice and crisp. Pickle on the side.
For the price though I could have settled for red Robin, chilli's, Applebee's or any other restaurant that offers burgers.
The heart attack burger restaurant in Las Vegas is a good choice or even Fuddruckers in Sparks NV is a better substitute.

Bingo is fun for seniors. Friendly staff. Smokey casino. Restaurant is rarely busy and it takes forever to get your food...even if the restaurant is empty. Gina's Lounge has great music and excellent service. Angelina's buy one get one free meals we're questionable...with their lasagna being the worst I've ever tasted. Coffeeshop had a buy one get one breakfast and we were charged twice, with the second charge after we had left and noticed on our bank statement.

Have been coming g here for years. It's changed but it's not too bad. O ly reason they are getting 3 stars is because our server thought it was okay to bring me the check before we even got our food....maybe just me but I was kinda thrown off by that
