I would like to commend Joshua for the outstanding service he provided during my recent visit. From the moment I arrived, he is professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to helping me find the right vehicle.
He took the time to answer all my questions, explained every detail clearly, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His knowledge, patience, and friendly approach truly stood out. It’s rare to encounter someone who goes above and beyond to ensure a customer feels valued, and Joshua did exactly that.

UPDATE
I PULLED THE SEAT OUT AND FOUND OUT IT WAS A $6 PLASTIC PART. FIXED IT MYSELF
WORST DEALER EVER. DO NOT GO.
I took my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in for a passenger seat that would not recline. It had been repaired under warranty earlier and had been used less than 50 times to access behind it. I took it in on appt. and waited 7 hours in the lobby to have the advisor come and tell me it would be $1200 to fix a cable. In order to get my vehicle back I had to pay $222.50, I had extended insurance and he would follow up to see if they would cover it. No response from Arnie for a week, so I called and asked what was going on. My insurance would only cover $400 and the rest was on me. OK. I have to have it fixed and Arnie said he would check with parts to order. 2 days later I received an email from Jeep America asking me to fill out survey. I gave Carson Jeep bad ratings for no followup, long wait, and charging me to look at seat, but not fix it. I again called Arnie to see why parts had not called or no followup. Arnie informed me that since I gave them a bad rating that they would not work with me anymore. I would have to go somewhere else. I requested the service manager and was informed he would contact me. I called later and left a message with him. No response. They kept my money and will not return calls. I called Jeep America and was told they wanted honesty on their surveys but that dishonest dealerships are allowed to refuse service. The public be damned.
Their response shows how little they care and made up statements of aggressive verbiage. Honesty is not slander.
What happened to the days when a business would try to make it right instead of refusing service
When a customer is upset because a service wasn't completed satisfactorily, poor customer service from the provider can escalate the situation for several reasons:
Lack of Empathy: Customers expect their concerns to be acknowledged. If the service provider fails to show understanding or concern, the customer feels undervalued, leading to frustration.
No Resolution Offered: If the business doesn't propose a solution, like redoing the work or issuing a refund, the issue remains unresolved. This creates distrust and dissatisfaction.
Communication Breakdown: Poor communication, such as dismissive responses or lack of updates, can exacerbate the issue. Customers want clear explanations and next steps when a problem arises.
Accountability Issues: If the provider doesn’t take responsibility for the incomplete work, it signals to the customer that the business lacks professionalism, further damaging the relationship.
Expectation Mismatch: Customers often approach services with specific expectations. When these aren’t met and the company doesn't acknowledge or address the gap, it feels like a double failure.
Providing great customer service, even in difficult situations, is crucial. Offering sincere apologies, clear communication, and a prompt resolution (e.g., redoing the service, partial refunds, or compensations) can turn a negative experience into a positive one, preserving customer trust and loyalty.

This dealership is not unlike most of them . I took my Extremely well maintained 2016 Jeep Wrangler to there for a diagnostic for a number 2 cylinder misfire on my onboard computer . They came back with 10 percent compression in the number 2 cylinder .Said I needed a valve job and may need a new motor at 16,000 . I take it to a custom mechanic , with full compression across the board ! Turns out I needed a new oil cooler and had a couple leak downs . They were obviously taking advantage and wreaked of intimidation ! Actually they get no stars! Beware if you get service here. I need a refund and an apology , or I am going to verbally ruin this dealership !!

I’ve had nothing but disappointment with Carson RAM. A month ago I was promised a reimbursement check for smog, which I still haven’t received. I’ve called Jared (the GSM) multiple times, left several voicemails, and never received a response. Zero accountability.
On top of that, my earlier experience with Jeff, the used car sales manager, was equally frustrating. When I came in to trade my truck, his attitude was condescending and dismissive — surprising, given I had just purchased from him a week prior. Their trade-in offer came in at $6,500 less than Dolan RAM and $4,200 less than Corwin Ford, which makes it clear they’re not interested in being competitive or fair.
We purchase around 9 vehicles every year for personal and business use, and I often recommend dealerships to my construction clients throughout Northern Nevada and California. After this experience, Carson RAM won’t ever be on that list. If you value integrity, communication, and real customer service, look elsewhere.

I recently brought my 2022 Jeep compass into the service department because of some slight shaking in the steering wheel and seat. B.J. Was my service advisor, he was very helpful and let me know everything they would be doing and kept me updated every step of the way! I was in and out within the same day! Thank you so much B.J.!

I bought my 2025 jeep Grand Cherokee and the salesman Josh was very pleasant and helpful and gave me a fantastic deal on my purchase. I could not be happier. They go out of their way to see that you are pleased with your vehicle. All of the salesmen were pleasant and helpful. I recommend people go to Carson Dodge for a great deal and no pressure.
