Great bunch of people in here who made my daughter and I feel welcome right away. Top notch customer service and great products. Being a female 2A supporter, walking into a local gun shop is sometimes hard, but we were treated very respectably. Super cool Cobrateck knives too. Thanks again guys!

Went in for a front sight screw had quick and excellent service, I believe Randy was the one who helped me and even threw on the front sight for me. Great service friendly people.

I visited the store to sign up for the intro class because I wanted to learn about firearms. John and Cat were the instructors and I am so thankful for their knowledge and training! I learned so much about safety and handling and it was a great introduction. Randy, the owner, and Charlie have been invaluable in sharing their knowledge and helping me purchase my first handguns and accessories. Everyone I have come into contract with at Carson Guns has been very welcoming and has made me feel very comfortable staring this new adventure. I am looking forward to taking more classes in the future.

Knowledgeable staff and excellent educators. Their standards go above and beyond the state requirements. The safety of their students is paramount, so if you are not safe, expect to be sent home.

Need to recertify your CCW or get an initial one? Go to Carson Guns. Small business with a great heart and professional spirit! If you're recertifying, you meet at the Outdoor range in Carson in afternoon, do practical exam and then go back to their store for classroom and exam. Very fun simulation games with scenarios of threats. They are a Glock dealer and they sell items on consignment, even reloading gear... Skip the big guys in Reno and go to Carson for your CCW class or just training.

Stopped in looking for non-existent ammo and saw a handgun I wanted but, unfortunately, wasn't for sale (used for their training classes) but at least I was able to hold it and close my eyes and imagine it was mine for a few seconds. Friendly, knowledgeable, and, and informative. Can't wait until gun and ammo manufacturers start shipping again so I can spend money here like a drunken sailor.

After being in the firearm industry for over 48 years, Carson Guns is a great place to visit for your firearms training, reloading supplies and firearms transfers. Knowledgable staff with great friendly attitudes. Definitely an A Plus Rating.

Carson Guns is the only place that I would recommend to anyone looking to take a class for basic pistol orientation to getting a CCW or anything in-between. All of the staff is super knowledgeable. When I arrived to the they took care of all my questions. My fiancé and I took the basic handgun orientation and we were blown away with John and Cat as the instructors. The knowledge they have when teaching us on how to utilize handguns in a safety first manner, while keeping the class fun created a structured and easy going environment. The shop provided us with different handguns and ammo to try out. We were able to try the different calibers of various guns which helped built my fiancé's confidence, especially since this was her first time really shooting a gun.

Just bought a gun there yesterday and the service was OUTSTANDING!!!Very knowledgeable and polite... DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone!!!
