I had my car break down in Carson city during a cross country road trip, and I needed to get back on the road quick to catch a flight. My car was driving fine until the check engine light started blinking for a few seconds as I pulled into the city. Everybody should know that a check engine light means a severe misfire, and it’s a case to get your car towed to a repair shop. As I am on a tight schedule, I didn’t have time for an appointment to open up, so I had to do whatever repairs were required myself. I called all of the mechanics in the area and I was told the same story— no available appointments for the foreseeable future. However, the folks at Carson city servicenter went the extra mile even with their schedule being full. They told me to come in, hooked me up to their more sophisticated OBD reader, and ran a few tests to find out the issue with my vehicle. I feel so much safer knowing that there were no severe issues with the vehicle, and I am setting off to finish my trip today. Their generosity helped me complete a trip I’ve been dreaming of my whole life. Thank you to the amazing people at this place that helped me continue my journey across the country!

Amazing! They went beyond trying to help us.
We needed a service done to our car and we're in a time crunch. They exceeded our expectations. They explained and and showed us what the problem was.
Shannon worked hard to get us a discount on the parts!. Could not be happier and more delighted with All they did for us!

For several years, Carson Service Center honestly, and efficiency serviced several of my vehicle- both diesel and gas. Their professionalism, honesty, expediency is above reproach. I have always been satisfied, and will continue to do business with them.

I love working with Shannon, Frank and the rest of the team. Found them in a bind with a work vehicle a few years ago, and they came thru in less than 24 hrs. They continue to ALWAYS come thru when needed most.

If your looking for a quality service shop. Look no further Carson Service Center not only does above and beyond work on vehicles. They also have some of the best customer service in the state. Shannon and Brian are extremely knowledgeable and do there absolute best to take care of you and your vehicles. Having vehicle problems can be expensive and extremely frustrating these days. But since coming to Carson Service Center I will not take or trust many others to get my vehicles back on the road. They are stright shooters that don't play games. If you have a warranty they do there best to take care of the client when the warranty companies will not. They have been a long time service shop in Carson City and I'm extremely proud to be apart of there circle. Thank you again for all the work and help keeping me and my family safe and ready for the roads ahead.

We had an idling issue with our restored 1990 GMC C1500 Stepside truck. It is very hard to find real mechanics that know how to troubleshoot and repair older vehicles. Frank figured out and fixed the problem and diagnosed and fixed other issues that would have become a problem sooner than later. Shannon, Frank and staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We are very pleased with their thoroughness and service!

I have brought 3 of my vehicles to this shop. All 3 vehicles have been picked up and broken and had to be towed home or had check engine lights. As soon as I got it back. I had an engine replaced in my car. I took them months to put the engine in And the 5 months of their labor was not included in the 12 month. Warranty that I paid $1200 for on the engine.
Was leaking oil missing parts. This shop is not trustworthy. Shannon is a car salesman and has no experience whatsoever any automotive repair industry. I have been a technician for 15 years and used to work at this shop when I was in high school. It used to be reliable and trustworthy. If you want your car fixed go to drew's automotive repair drew no longer works at this shop. And they have been making money off of drews reviews. Brian, they're lead. Tech has been fired from every shop in our area from my understanding Long story short if you want your car repaired by a phenomenal Tech. Who kept this shop running for years go to Drew's automotive. I have given Carson service center over $28000. To have my car's not fixed or broken.
And had shannon blame me. And told me it was my fault that my car was broken.

I've been coming to Carson service center for years, they are very honest,& upstanding, if u have any issues afterward they get u right back in ,& take care of whatever the problem is, everyone of the techs are very knowledgeable.??? I'm a lifer, lol, Shannon, & frank are the reasons I also keep coming back. They back their products,& care emensely about their customers, & anyone who says otherwise, is just a disgrutled person , & is a miserable soul anyway. If your want a 5 star performance bring your car, truck, whatever you have, no job is to big,
I also have a excursion, & the transmission went out, it ended up being a manufacturer's defect,& they replaced it very quickly excellent service no questions asked, I'm very picky,& my vehicles mean alot to me, u never have to worry about being ripped off or over priced come to Carson service center for excellent people, & service hands down 5+ ????????

This is absolutely the best shop in Carson City! Shannon is wonderful. She truly cares about the customers and takes the time to thoroughly explain every detail. The mechanics are great as well. If you want an honest reliable mechanic, with excellent customer service. Go to Carson Service Center.

Saw me at the front desk and after 10 minutes had not even called out a "be right with you". So I called the shop and they said they could help me out in a few hours - wouldn't even come chat in person. So I went across the street to Mario's and got helped immediately (for a cheaper estimate) by people who acknowledged me immediately when I entered.
