This candy factory is fantastic. I go back maybe once a month.
The candy is house made and highly edible. They have a good selection of everything from hard candy to melt in your mouth chocolate fudge. And all that falls between the two. Peanut brittle. Those little things wrapped in paper, can't recall the name. Divinity. Etc...
I am definitely a repeat customer. I find that the quality is much higher here than anything one might find at the grocery store or gas station.
If you are a candy connoisseur, do make the drive to the Chocolate Nugget.
It's kinda nice, with Virginia City just up the hill. Grab a bag of treats and make a day trip of it.
It's well worth the effort.
Dietary restrictions: They offer sugar free and, I think, gluten free products.
Parking: This store sits at the bottom of the hill going to Virginia City.
I believe there is another down the old highway toward Reno.
Both are quite nice.
Kid-friendliness: It's a candy store, so ... the phrase 'like a kid in a candy store ' comes to mind. You do the math.

This place was ok but if you are headed up to Virginia city save your money and go to the candy shop in town. It had way more options.
I was honestly disappointed in the variety of candies here. They had a few fun novelty type things that I had never seen before but overall just meh.

Customer service was excellent very friendly staff. They have a huge variety of candy, chocolate. I had the pecan cluster, chocolate covered raisins the best I’ve had.

Amazing candy! If you are visiting Virginia City, skip buying the overpriced and stale factory salt water taffy downtown and get the far superior taffy they make here. We also got chocolates and fudge and they were outstanding as well.

We love this store. Has a great selection of treats and especially sugar-free, for some family that was in town. They were happy to find it. The store is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

This is an old time candy store. Nice selection of chocolate and similar fancy candy. Ice cream bar for the kids. Love the popcorn and fudge.
