Bought two e bikes . Guys in the shop helped us find bikes to suit our needs. As we are both seniors it was very helpful. Took the bikes to the Alabama hills. Rode two days. Had an absolute blast.

These guys sent me a 24" tire called a 2.50-18 which they advertised as a 18"x2.5" tire. I have pictures with a measuring tape to prove they sent me a 24" tire, and they themselves keep reading their own ad as if it is a 2.5x18 tire so they dont accept that it is 24"!!! Ive sent them numerous explanations and images and they try put blame on me in all of them. I wouldnt buy anything from these people ever, God forbid you might ever need customer service. Buying from Carson City Bike Shop online is like gambling with your money. Just avoid it when you need something specific, these guys cant even read a tape measure. Never been more frustrated with any online purchase that i remember past decades. And they refuse to make it right, want me to pay for the shipping of the return and tell me they will charge restocking fee. I sent them some links about what Nevada does with people who falsely advertise their products - especially after they have been notified of their error and they just refuse yo acknowledge. If i lose my money i will report them on principle, as this is a cut and dry case with all the pictures and correspondence i have saved.Dont bother with these people if you dont want to get stuck fighting them like I am. Buy from somewhere else.Wish i had read a review like this before.Thanks for your attention.

Highly recommend Carson City Bike Shop. Jeremy is fantastic!!! Our bikes had seriously rusted chains and sprockets. He was able to clean them up and they look new. All of the squeaks are gone too. I needed a new seat and he ordered one for me and installed it. Everything was completed very quickly and the service was very reasonable. Can't thank you enough Jeremy!!!

Im giving one star because it wont let me write a review unless I choose a star!! This place has the worst customer experience EVER!! Rude people! We walked in to by two bikes and the worker was complaining about everything!! Didn't even greet us!! We walked out!! No thank you! Will never by from you!! This was yesterday at 11:30 a.m.

After a test ride, I don't think an e bike is the best fit but the employees were very nice and took the time to answer my questions and help me decide on what kind of bike I'm looking for.

Carson city bike shop rocks! I got a new bike, it required being put together by a professional. I had no idea where to go so I called around. Most places had a two week wait. Being that I was so excited I couldn't wait. I landed on this shop and I'm sure happy I did. The guys there were very friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. They had a few bikes in front of mine and said on (Tuesday) they have it ready before the weekend. My bike was ready a day and a half later. Which was awesome! They offer the best hourly rate and the task took only one to complete. I'm beyond happy with their service. I highly recommend them.

I am giving 3 stars as a benefit of a doubt based on my experience going to the shop for a test ride. It seemed like they must have been tired or stressed to get other work done and actually seemed annoyed at having to take time out for the test ride question and answer. The Bike itself was excellent and I was impressed just hard to get by my perceived attitude of the employees so I'm not sure about how customer service will be if I were to purchase a bike form them. Unfortunate

Had an awesome experience with Concept Electric Bikes! Went into their shop in Carson City, NV cwas greeted very nicely by the worker there Tim. He was VERY helpful with all my questions, wants and needs. Helped me to understand why it costs this and that. Totally fully believe this kid deserves more than a raise! He should be a manager there! ? Those types of workers don't get enough credit! I enjoy going inside this shop! Very glad it's near my home and I absolutely love the bikes they are awesome!!! Thanks guys

I tried to purchase a set of brakes from Concept Ebikes. The only shipping option was $250 flat-rate. I'm only a couple states away. It's not like this was an international order. Totally unacceptable.
Edit: In light of the reply from the owner, let me clarify that this review is for conceptebikes.com, not carsoncitybikeshop.com. These two sites appear to be totally separate, though the companies appear to be affiliated with each other. I don't doubt that Carsoncitybikeshop.com provides reasonable shipping rates, but conceptebikes.com does not, at this time. Carson City Bike Shop also has its own separate Google reviews, so I believe this review should stand for Concept Electric Bikes. I would encourage the owner to check the shipping rates on conceptebikes.com, and see if something needs to be corrected on that site.

I purchased my Concept E752 on May 1st and now have two full months of riding. The whole experience from initial pre purchase calls, to purchasing my bike in Carson City NV to after purchase tech support have been an exceptional experience. I am glad that I purchased my bike and supported an USA company. The bike has been solid, most of my rides are 15m to 20miles. My only wish after riding in the Tahoe area and Santa Cruz Mountains is more range as I find I want to keep riding. I have put some hard miles/rides on the bike and it takes everything I can deliver. No issues to report after 240 miles.

We purchased (2)E752 bikes from David's company. We bike a fair amount but live in Truckee, CA where it is quite mountainous. We live on a street with a 10% grade and always hated the last 2 miles to come home up the hill. As we get older ( Mid 70's) we felt it was time to look into e bikes. Glad we did. So far after a couple of weeks and some minor adjustments we have gone about 200 miles. The good news, is it’s getting us out a lot more.
The bikes are heavy, about 55-60 lbs, so putting on the rack requires some effort. Removing the battery helps a bit. The shifter is smooth, the brakes are great and the Bafang mid mount motor is quiet. We use the electric portion only when we need a boost up hills, not continuously. This model also has a throttle, rare in this price range. I weight about 200 lbs, so I need a slightly larger boost, at the #2 level. My wife is a lot lighter and gets by easily with the #1 electric boost. There are 5 levels. We have not tried any higher levels of boost.
The Color display is bright, can be seen easily during the day with sunglasses on. About the size of an iPhone. It has all the information you need and can be reset for each trip. There is a headlight included. The kick stand is sturdy. I like, when you get on the bike on a hill, it’s always difficult to get going, but the throttle makes getting going easy. We like the attractive greenish, grey, silver color too.
There are 9 gears ( 1x9) from the Shimano shifter. The Acera is a low to mid range shifter from Shimano. The shifter is adequate. We have taken the bikes off road too. The tires are about 2.2” so you don't want to be riding in sand or soft dirt. The front shocks seem adequate and are adjustable.
The only negatives are the handle bars are not adjustable ( you can buy an attachment for under $30 to accomplish this) there is no tail light, even though Bafang sells one on line but has to be wired in. You can purchase a rear carrier platform, about $40-50 and a carrying bag, about $60 from the company. Both are excellent additions.
The proof is in the service and the longevity of the bike. Anthony in the shop is knowledgeable and makes any adjustment necessary. He is friendly, accommodating and willing to help ( we live about an hour away) The longevity of the bike is yet to be determined, but I think it will do well. The Bafang motor is used a lot in low end to mid range bikes so they have a lot of experience. We hope the motor lasts.
Overall we give the bike a 4.7 stars and the experience 5 stars as well as the buying experience and service.

After only three excursions, we love our new E500 bikes! Our total trip miles after three rides of hilly terrain is about twenty miles without recharging. They ride smoothly and respond with power when needed. We are very happy we discovered Concept Ebikes.

My husband and I used to walk for exercise but bought two Concept e-bikes and now we almost always ride. The bikes have dramatically increased our range, so we're able to see much more and go to places in much less time. Its also nice that the motor lets you decide how hard you want to pedal, so you can ride your bike to a restaurant for lunch and not have to break a sweat to get over the hills. I also like that its quiet and we can take it into the woods without scaring every animal for miles with the motor noise of our ATVs. We've been enjoying riding the logging roads up north.
