It is very sad when you go to donate things to Goodwill and your told they don’t want them. This is the second time this is happened to me. I could understand if it was junk. But this was kitchenware and glassware all in good shape still usable. I won’t be donating there anymore. I also won’t be shopping there anymore. Very poor customer service.

I love this store but the prices are way too high. I wanted to get a couple of used towels for my dogs bath. The price is $3.99 to $6.99. The same size towel was $3.97 brand new at Walmart. Goodwill needs to realize we are shopping there to save money but if you can get the same thing brand new somewhere else why bother. Used towels should not be more than $2.00.

No dressing rooms is insane. Overpriced and employees are in a bad mood everytime I’ve been.

The service was a complete gross behavior. Not one interaction was given. They walk around like everyone is below them.

Went in today just to check it out. The cashier was really rude and snotty. I called the manager and he said he would talk to her but I heard him laughing before he hung up the phone. The prices are extremely high for all donated stuff and the staff is extremely rude.

Went In to get my daughter some utensils to dig in the dirt with. The few things we found didn’t have prices. Went up to check out and was shocked by the prices. They’ve got their prices extremely unreasonable for items that have been given to them. Would have paid less to go to the dollar store and get brand new.
*the store is filthy
*the prices aren’t thrift store prices.
(( check out classy seconds if your wanting to buy from a thrift store )

Prices were pretty good. Picked up some things that had lower prices plus we get senior discount.

This store is always dirty. The product is what you would expect. But the customer service is HORRIBLE. My daughter and I walked up to the register and waited about 2 minutes for someone to come help. She was RUDE, and eyeballed my daughter, looking her up and down with a NASTY, UGLY look on her face. There was absolutely no reason for the look. I most likely won't go back to this location.

Our house undergoes continual "churning" between things we buy and latter stuff that we donate. Unlike Bill Clinton (who allegedly donated his boxers), Gayle and I try to donate practical items that don't end up in some charity's secret back alley dumpster. Here in the Carson Valley, we donate to 2 charitable organizations: Goodwill in Carson City, and St. Gall's Catholic Church in Gardnerville. As this is Gayle's Mom's Parish, we're a little partial to St. Gall's. Both are about the same relatively long drive from Genoa, both have convenient drop offs, while Goodwill has longer hours. And it's pretty humbling to see all the donated merchandise that both organization have to work through. Approaching this Goodwill from eastbound US 50 takes some attention as it comes up suddenly and I'm turning against a lot of traffic. The Donation area is located on the left side of the main building towards the back. Goodwill staff are usually in good spirits and have a decent sense of balance between rejecting our treasures and accepting them with a minimum of questions and inspections. I always ask for the receipt slip and manage a decent estimate of what I've donated.
