Carson City Home Depot, Jacks Valley Road did a fabulous job helping us purchase a lawnmower. I was able to ask Matt about how we could have a lawnmower assembled for us. He assured me that could be done. Carrie called to let us know our order was ready. She worked with the garden department since we needed to pick up the lawnmower on Wednesday morning. The Customer Service Department checked us out and Roger, who had assembled it, helped us load it into our van. The teamwork demonstrated was excellent. Roger even put the oil into the mower before we arrived. Thank you to all!

I bought a set of patio furniture on clearance and was told it could be delivered. I went to the service desk, paid for the furniture and the delivery and scheduled a delivery date. When the item didn't come, I called the store and spoke to a manager who told me they couldn't deliver clearance items and had put the furniture back on the floor and sold it to someone else without bothering to call me and let me make other arrangements to get it to my house. They best he could do was apologize, which wasn't good enough. I have no tolerance for poor customer service, so I won't be going back.

Bought washer and dryer set. Paid about $2k for the set (about $100 more than same was at Costco). Both arrived scratched. Rather than Costco that offers virtually unlimited returns, HD said "you should have told the delivery guy to take them away." Not a great vendor, choose wisely. I am even a contractor ProExtra spender of about $20k per year at HD. Pretty sure they dont care about their yelp reviews, but giving one anyhow.

While the in- store shopping for flooring was good, the delivery of the product was not. First of all, the delivery time estimate texted to us was for a 14-hour span of time, from 6:00am to 8:00pm, which is absolutely ludicrous and not customer friendly. Next, however, was worse because when we were texted that the delivery was on the way, the text also reported that the driver would contact us prior to actual delivery. We were not contacted by the driver, and so we were not at the residence at the time even though just 10 minutes away, but the flooring was left on the sidewalk to the house - the Delivery Confirmation paperwork states the following (exact quote): UNATTENDED DROP: Unauthorized. So, unreasonable expectation by Home Depot for customers to be prepared to stand by for 14 hours waiting for delivery, then delivery with no phone call as promised, and not authorized to leave the flooring material without us being present. We paid for delivery and got what we consider ridiculously poor delivery service.

Exterior and interior are clean and in good repair. My friend ordered a tool online for pickup at store. Customer service/pickup was rude, surly, argumentative, effectively called me a liar, and -- was pretty much the opposite of customer service. Despite documentation, photos, and facts, the customer is always wrong. Go for the tools, avoid customer service.

Well, I can see why only 2.5 stars. We are leaving the Carson City Jacks Valley Road Home Depot to drive 45 minutes to Reno Lowe's - my client (yeah, I don't want to be working today either guys!) needs to order about $5,000 in appliances and flooring by the end of the day (12/31). Yep, they waited until the last minute but you know what? They've got money to spend so I came here first, even tho I told them about our terrible experience 10/26 trying to buy a $2,500 snow blower (that we bought elsewhere). What a waste of a 45-minute drive down from Tahoe. Customer Service Desk? No. Customer Insult Desk. Manager on Duty? No. Manager too busy to speak to me. Store Associates apologizing when I asked if this was normal. Well, we're almost to the parking lot of Lowe's in Reno right now and we are about to make a nice contribution to this store's end of year sales. Sorry HD - you don't have to tell me 3 times that you don't need our business. I'll just let others know so they don't waste time if they can't spare it. Like I can't today. I tried.

We've spent weeks looking for just the right refrigerator and it wasn't until we met Teresa Harmon at Home Depot Carson City that we pulled the trigger. She was so good to work with. We selected a LG 27 CF side by side & simply want to say thanks! Ask for Teresa.

Jenn was absolutely amazing. We were trying to buy a patio set. 1st gentleman had no clue where it was or even how to figure it out. Jenn showed up. Looked it up found it in a semi trailer outback that had just started being unloaded. Advised we ordered online for instore pickup and she would see it was taken care of and ready for us. We did and went home. Barely made it home when jenn called. She found our order deep in the trailer. Marked it. And alerted the dock workers and night management to make sure we got it and was ready to go.

Fabulous customer service! I can't thank Tom Spates, operations manager, enough for all his help. Had some issues with a purchase but he made everything right. We will be back for more appliance purchases for sure. I highly recommend this specific store. This is how you do business and keep customers!

Horrible customer service. Went there to cut some chain and some rope. Brought it to the counter with a picture of the merchandise and the length. You would or thought I was one of Angie little bad grandkids with how she and her brunette customer service friend acted towards me. I don't care how old you are it does not give you the right to be a grumpy old lady!! Home Depot needs to get there act together when it comes to the rope / chain department. There is no reason I should have to get scolded by Angie and her sidekick!! I'm trying to pay/ not steal the merchandise. I thought Home Depot was a place where a father of 3 could go and not get harassed and treated like a child by some upset Grandma. Your age does not give you a pass on your manners something I thought by now Angie should have a little more of. I have enough hassle in my life the last year(#COVID2020)maybe Lowe's will treat me like the hardworking/paying customer I am. Home Depot will no longer get my big business! Don't worry Home Depot you can have my Nuts and Bolts business. Lol. All big appliance and home remodeling projects now go to Lowe's! If a 35year old male family of 4 with 3 kids is not your demographic? Than I don't know what is?? Wish these companies would understand we are coming into a time of customer brand loyalty but I guess they still didn't get the memo at the TOP^^^.

I will NEVER purchase an appliance here again. After the appliance was 3 weeks and I paid extra to have the old appliance taken away. The guy said he was simply to Do it. Left the box and drove off. I called the manager who basically said "that kinda stuff happens" and "to call back on Monday if I want a refund but we're not sure if we do that sort of thing, you may have to call the company who delivered it." So we figure we'll just instal it ourselves. But after we open it the door of the appliance is completely dented in. Terrible products, terrible customer service, will take your money, give you broken items and won't return your money. I guess Home Depot can just steal peoples money and get away with it.

Do not buy your flooring here. We had a person come out and measure and suggest flex molding for the curves in our tile where the wood we were buying would meet the tile. We paid for delivery and install, they suggested the wood be in the home for a couple of days to acclimate to the home. They dropped the order on a pallet in the driveway, so my wife and I had to carry everything inside ourselves. Then the day of the install (after I moved everything out of our livingroom) the installers show up, cut a section of carpet, and then stop. They tell me they dont have the flex molding for the curved tile and cannot finish the job, so they are going to seam their cut and leave. I tell them that the person from Home Depot that came out to do the measurements recommended the flex molding, said it would add about $90, so I said to do it. She took photos of the curves and that was that. I spoke to the install coordinator at Home Depot about what was happening and she said that Home Depot doesn't sell flex molding so the person who did the measurements and took the photos could not have added it to my order (bonus points for basically calling me a liar), and I was told to find it elsewhere before the install could be done. My other option was to have them cut the tile to make a square (which would put about 3ft of a square corner in our dining room...not a solution). Just go somewhere else. This has been one of the worst experiences with a business I've ever had. Now I get to try to return everything, move my things back into the living room only to have to move them out again when I get a reputable floor company to do the job. Way to go Home Depot, by the way, way to waste my day off.
