Went into Home Depot in Carson City today ready to spend upwards of $1000 on a snowblower. The first person I spoke to didn't know what a snowblower was. The second person I spoke to couldn't help me, and suggested "Sam" in the garden section. When I asked Sam if she could help me with a snowblower, she said she didn't really know anything about them. I asked if anyone else at the store could help me, and she said "what do you want to know about them?" I told her that I wanted information on the best snowblower for my first winter in Lake Tahoe. She told me she could try and find a manager, and then she wandered off. Two minutes later, I saw her stocking a shelf with gardening supplies.Basically, no one knows what they are doing. So I'll go spend $1500 at a small, mom and pop hardware store. No more big box stores for me

Had a $35 credit- wanted to buy a Bosch plunge guide for a router. Called- they said- can only buy in the store. Went there- they don't stock them and I went to customer service--- oh gee- that product can only be bought online- sorry we can't help/ or take your credit. Very poor store service- for a multi billion$$ company. Took all my biz to Lowe's. Couldn't leave fast enough. Very sad.

5 stars for the store personnel. 1 star for corporate policy in using The Retail Equation for returns management. So 3 stars overall.I have spent about $10k at this Home Depot over the last few years while rebuilding my house in South Lake Tahoe. But I will not spend another dime there while they still let The Retail Equation manage (block) valid attempts at in-store returns. The store personnel were generally trying their best (especially Asst. Store Manager Tom who really went out of his way to help, but failed; and also the young workers who helped me get the stuff back and forth to my van; both of those efforts were much appreciated), but the humans are unable to work past The Retail Equation's terribly flawed service.I probably bought 60 sheets of white 1/2" drywall for my house project. Today I tried and failed to return the ONE I had left over, with the original printed receipt from this Home Depot. TRE must think I shoplifted it. For those that don't know, drywall is 4' x 8', 1/2" thick, weighs about 50 lbs, and costs $10 a sheet. Fraud alert! I had receipts for 90% of the items I was returning. The returns people in store could tell it was normal and were trying to do it, but TRE blocked it.Home Depot corporate must terminate their contract with TRE. Until then, I will take my business to other retailers (just up the street, BTW) that do not deal with such a dangerously incompetent company as TRE.

Curbside delivery for the 2nd day in a row , yesterday , some of my products they could find , some they couldn't , still sat outside for over a half hour before any greeted us , had to go in to the store and stand in line. So much for curbside pickup to help ease what's going on with the pandemic . Today we stupidly selected again for store pickup for two large shelving units. Our first mistake was doing business with this company , they don't care about their customers. Same lame procedure today , only waiting watching other people pull up to curbside and complete their transaction before we are even greeted . Maybe Home Depot should not send emails stating products are in and ready for pickup when they actually are still stuck in receiving or some other lame excuse.

TERRIBLE service - I bought a stove and had it delivered. The delivery company came (without masks or gloves during Covid) and said they could not install "because the existing stove was glued to the granite". They asked me to have it removed myself and they would come back in a couple days to pick it up. The moment they left, I checked myself only to find out it was not in fact glued - just a bead of calking to keep water out. I removed the stove in 30 seconds myself with no

I love this location. It almost always has friendly staff. They have one guy that works there that is always helpful. I usually look for him if I need help pulling lumber down or loading anything. He is always super helpful big smile and a great sense of humor. I dont remember his name but he is a shorter spanish man with a great work ethic. The manager at this location is always open to feedback.

This is a well stocked store and the staff are very helpful. Not sure why it has a 3 star rating. Much better than the Home Depot on the north side of Carson City. I will be back here. Store and bathrooms very clean.

Customer service here is garbage. Rayanne needs to find a job not in customer service. Never have i been treated so poorly or witnessed other customers be treated that way. I will drive to the other side of Carson city next time rather than return here.

...called this afternoon making sure your store had the old-school all wood Burro Brand sawhorses that were advertised on your website...I explained to the person I was forwarded to that I was driving down from my house in Tahoe (on a Sunday.....during the holidays) and wanted to make sure it wasn't in vain....he said they had them and there were plenty so no problem, they'd be here....so I immediately drove down (in traffic ) 40 minutes later I get to the store and THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THESE SAWHORSES IN THEIR INVENTORY.....so be forewarned, these people have their heads firmly wedged up their posteriors when it comes to customer service.. .. headed to Lowes....screw these clowns. .

I went today to purchase a snowblower I had a few questions and I was greeted by a very rude woman at the customer service desk I she was not much help at all didn't understand anything about the equipment that Home Depot sells and I didn't get my information or what I was looking to do accomplished at the customer service desk I then decided before I leave I will try one more person they called a manager after calling the manager he basically told me that the online store and the ground store are two separate companies and that he could not help me at all with what I was trying to order. The store manager acted like he was more important than everybody else and too busy to help me with my order so he told me nothing I can do and walked away. I would appreciate a phone call from a regional manager or some sort of manager that is above this stores manager so I can discuss what happened. The biggest advice I can give other customers is if the it is not in store on location it is not through that Home Depot. If you have to order something do it online from the comfort of your own home because ordering it from the store is pointless.
