Searched all the lumberyards in Reno for a specific profile of siding I was trying to match on an old house with not much luck. At Meeks however, Richard was extremely helpful and searched high and low from suppliers for a couple days and was able to find the closest profile available in the industry (a nearly perfect match). He also brought up the option of having an exact profile milled if needed. This level of customer service is hard to find these days and they've definitely earned my business going forward.

Customer beware! We placed a special order for an external door with a doggie door to replace an existing glass door that was installed by the builder in the early 2000s. We provided extensive dimensions. The door arrived and didn't fit. We met with the Manager and learned the cut sheet sent to the door manufacture was not the same as our dimensions. We were told that standard doors only come 79" tall. We ordered for 80" tall. The width was supposed to be 30 1/2" and it was an 1 1/2" narrower. The hinge cut out was supposed to be for a 3 1/2" hinge and they cut it for a 4" hinge. We ordered an all weather doggie door and got a single flap door. So much for our $700.00 "special order door." We were reminded that when we placed the order we approved the information the manager sent to the door manufacture. Yes we messed up but so did the manufacturer. We didn't look closely at every dimension on the cut sheet. We didnt expect a full refund, but we did expect some compensation. We are very disappointed in Meeks and will never shop there again.

I called Meeks to price out ordering some plywood for my project. Phone rang, was picked up and hung up on with no acknowledgement or ask to hold.I’ll take my business elsewhere if that’s their style.

We highly recommend Meek's. Jason and his team are very professional, polite and focused on serving their customers with a high quality product. Very responsive and accommodating. We found Jason and the Meeks team very trustworthy and highly recommend them for your home insulation needs.

Often don't have what I am looking for. Great place for larger items and Lumber but not much in the way of hardware. They are remodeling so things may improve.

Thank you Ashley for the follow up, the guy working the front counter did mention things could be ordered, we were just looking for a few small items and was hoping to look at some trim. No worries, he also mentioned your location was more contractor focused.

The worst experience I’ve had with any business. Their mistake ended up costing me time , money , and all around stress because of a simple mistake on their end that escalated to their store manager Marc acting like a child and being petty after I chose to return the $4000 dollars worth on merchandise and go to Home Depot . On top of it their associate Kelly lied and changed her story about the items that they missed and charged me for the benefit of getting more money to the point that now I have to take it all up with my credit bureau. Shady and sketchy business. Store manager has problems and shouldn’t be running the store. Takes things personal and doesn’t want to work with you and regional manager was polite but really wasn’t much help. Still tried to charge me a 1000 dollar restocking fee for 2 bundles of lumber and some basic hardware. They made it nearly impossible the receive my money back while trying to patronize me through this all. Absolutely despicable behavior from Marc as a person and as a manager. After screwing up the order , charging me for items I never received, they still try to pull a fast one and claim that’s what was on the order and now we are charging you this fee and this fee. They practically tried to the last straw to make some money off of me for something that was their mistake in the first place. Marc doesn’t listen to you at all nor does he care about what you have to say if it doesn’t benefit him in the end. Don’t recommend at all , dishonest, rude, inconsiderate people. As of now I have a pending $3,300 out of $3,8xx.xx.p.s. First time customer here , 24 years old and a new home owner , if this is how you run a business by bullying others at their expense, I highly recommend going anywhere but Meek’s.

STAY AWAY FROM MEEKS IN CARSON CITY! treated us like complete sh*t when we decided to return an order because of their mistake. Made it the biggest ordeal ever and fought to the last brink to not give us our money back ! Marc the store manager is a complete a-hole who things he's a tough guy by bullying you when a sale doesn't go his way and Kelly his sales associate completely dishonest for the sake of her boss.
