You know what I like about Nevada State Bank? They have more than one location in town and they have friendly tellers and there no waiting! Try that at Bank of America with just one branch in town that has long ass lines all the time! These people recognize me when I come in and know me by name. I cash checks, make deposits with out filling out the deposit slip (they gladly do that for me). I see this as banking local and it shows in the service level.

I recently had to go into a branch due to my online account being locked, I believe due to my using a VPN that makes it appear I'm logging in from Canada. The national bank was not able to verify my identity because email was not a verification method and they couldn't text me since I was talking to them on VOIP. Shannon Nelson, Personal Banker, at this branch was extremely friendly and helpful. After physically verifying my identity she removed a block, added a voice password to use next time this happened and called me later saying she removed another block that was on my address. I've been able to login fine since. I imagine a change in my home ip is a good way to detect fraudulent attempts to spoof me but more of us are using VPN's nowadays and I wish NSBank can come up w/ a good way to allow this. I recently moved to the area and was in search of a local bank. I found this branch location and I am so glad that I did. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. They accommodated my banking needs and had me on my way in short order. I highly recommend this bank.

The Assisstance manager at College Parkway Carson city Nevada is inept and has been for atleast a year but I hung in there because I have been with NSB for years. i am so upset with how they handled a fraud investigation trying to blame the customer multiple times. In the end it showed fraud was legit but I cant get back how upset and bad she and her staff made me feel..horrible reps for NSB.. real good "leadership" for NSB...
