Tahoe Dive Center offers exceptional instruction, repair, travel, and retail dive equipment to keep customers diving safely and confidently. During the Fall and Winter months (mid-October to early May), the center operates by appointment only, and customers can reach them at [email protected] for the fastest response. Customers praise the center's helpful and reasonably priced services. One reviewer forgot their hood and was able to rent one for $12, saving them a significant amount compared to purchasing a new one. Another customer, visiting from Oahu, had a great experience with the owner, Chris, who was super accommodating and helped them with rental gear and questions about high-altitude diving and local dive sites, even staying past closing time to assist them. The center's rental wetsuits are suitable for summer dives down to about 40 feet, though customers may need something warmer for deeper dives. While the nitrox offered is 32%, which may not be ideal for high-altitude diving, the overall experience at Tahoe Dive Center is highly positive, with customers expressing their intention to return when visiting the area again.
amazing experience with Kyle and Ryan. We started early in the morning and our instructor was Ryan. We had an amazing time at Lake Tahoe navigating the shore and learning new skills. 10/10 experience, I would do this again.

Kyle was great. We showed up unannounced and he was still able to get us tanks. Reservations are recommended so next time we know. He gave us dive site ideas and had extra gear in stock that we needed. He was also super friendly.
