Sierra Sewing Center is a family-owned business established in 1966, offering Northern Nevada’s largest selection of in-stock Bernina, Pfaff, Husqvarna Viking, Janome, and Baby Lock sewing machines and sergers. They also carry a wide range of fabrics, notions, and accessories for sewing and embroidery. In addition, the store stocks high-quality vacuums from Miele, Riccar, and Simplicity brands. Customers appreciate the knowledgeable and friendly staff, and many have had positive experiences over the years, including buying machines that still work great after many years. The store is a great place for quilting, taking classes, and getting sewing help.
Friendly and helpful people. I visit both locations and usually find what I need (and then some). BOTM club is fun and interesting (although during the winter it can be hard to get to Carson from Tahoe).

I attended my first quilting class a couple of weeks ago. Just a beginner and the instructor was so helpful. I’m looking forward to attending more classes. The selection of fabric, thread and supplies was fantastic.
