Spectrum promised me a 52.00 a month rate. When I received my second bill the bill was for 80.00. Carson city nv spectrum office wouldn't honor their guaranteed price for me. While trying to get them to listen to me the rep told me to talk with the person who guaranteed the rate. Tried to explain to him that it was at the call centerHe then told me to talk with spectrum. I told him he was spectrums representative. He then said we're done and dismissed me.

Great experience today. Made an appointment online, showed up on time and was called up as soon as I checked in. Victor was prompt and professional, and got us switched over from our previous provider seamlessly. Exited with a $120 cost savings per month for a year for our two phones with the unlimited talk, text, and data plan. Whoop, whoop!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Had to drive across the parking lot to the UPS store to ship my modem to them because they were unwilling to help inside of their brick and mortar location. No wonder their services are so over priced.

Took over 2 hours to turn in equipment. When I said "I was discontinuing internet svc" the spectrum employee cut me off midsentence. I assume they have so many customers, 1 dissatisfied one is not their problem.

I stopped by to return my equipment as instructed after cancelling my service. After waiting over 1 hour in line I was told they could not accept my equipment returns and to go to the UPS store. Horrible waste of time. The phone representative could have told me they correct info and this wouldn't have been an issue.

I'm not even a customer but I ran into one of your sales associates inside the Walmart Supercenter on the south side of Carson City. He approached me near the electronics section about switching to Spectrum from my current provider. I told him, politely at first, that I had an appointment and didn't have time to speak with him. He literally would not take no for an answer. After the 3rd time telling him I did not have time, he once again kept after me. I finally had to raise my voice and tell him no, I wasn't interested and was not going to be polite about it anymore. His response, "Whatever, your loss...". I had actually been hearing good things about Spectrum (we recently moved to Nevada and went with At&t because their equipment was already in the house we purchased in Dayton, NV. I was actually interested to see if it could be cheaper. After this experience, I'll pay 2x whatever savings you could have offered me. I try to have compassion to people who sell products in this type of setting. I realize how poorly they can be treated by approaching people. This was definitely the other way around.

This company is the worst. I have never dealt with such a terrible business. I don’t know how they are still in business. Every time I call customer service it is one big merry go round of garbage.

Good heavens. If you need to return equipment, just do yourself a favor and drop it off at the UPS store, where the term "customer service" isn't absolutely meaningless. What should have been a simple transaction ended up being an exercise in frustration, all because I was not considered an "authorized user." I'm "just the spouse" that handles all the errand running and account information. *insert eye roll here* Please, name ONE instance of a fraudulent return of equipment! Rule following I understand. I truly do. Just trying to do their jobs. What I did not appreciate was the overall attitude of everybody in that store. Some retraining definitely seems necessary.

Well as it took me 2 days to even be able to post a review because of my lovely " reliable" internet, i feel like thats all i gotta say. But good thing after 4 phone calls and a technician promised to be out here within 2 months ill be back up and running in no time! I was told " we don't know what the problem is" well sadly its your job. I have to figure out problems at my job. I would expect the same. And if a technician needs to come out which is understandable if no one can figure out the problem, why must it be weeks and months out? And for your holding music to constantly say " reliable service " ..... i couldn't tell you how you have survived this long. Hopefully better internet companies will start covering this area. Good luck spectrum.

The woman who "assisted me" was the epitome of the stigma around Spectrum and why everyone hates dealing with this company. I had great interaction with everyone over the phone. Every time I call in I have a great experience. However, I go to the store and this woman "thought" I was being short with her, and decided to reciprocate and start being rude to me and short with me. She was the completely opposite of helpful, was rude, condescending, and fully supported the reason why this store has a rating of 3.2 starts (and dropping).Even if I was "being short" with her, the stupidest thing she could ever do is to reciprocate. Why would you perpetuate the cycle? Who gives you the right? What happened to good customer service? I've worked bad jobs before, and I never gave anybody attitude that was giving me attitude. But this woman had a sense of entitlement about her and it was absolutely ridiculous. So sad. This company could be the one of the best companies in the world, but instead, they hire incompetent, entitled, self-centered, childish people to run their stores and allow these people to be the face of the company. And then they wonder why they have a 3.2 star rating...

The business process for helping customers at the Topsy location is broken. Six stations available and two customer service reps working during busy time. Absolutely no respect for customers' valuable time. Wait is two hours plus. Wow!! Just need to pick up a modem, was unable to get reservation. Simple solution #1. plan more reps during busy time. Simple solution #2. Have a "pick up" line to streamline. Recommend considering another provider if that's an option.

16 people waiting and only two workers working. Multiple people are saying they have been waiting two hours. I'm here to pick up my equipment only. They should have the people doing simple pickups separated to speed stuff up.
