I’ve stayed at this Staybridge location frequently over the last 3 years for business and leisure travel. The staff has always been welcoming, friendly and accommodating.
To address the 1-star review below regarding a noise complaint: Club Fonseca was bumpin’ well after 8 pm; to the extent that my floors were rattling and I could hear their music over my TV. It is not the staff’s fault that other guest (me) were disturbed to the point of needing to make a formal complaint. Regardless of the time of day, it’s simply rude and inconsiderate to play music that loudly in a hotel.

Kept getting calls about noise for playing music even though it was only 8pm turned it down and still got called again. They don’t understand the part where this city does not have a noise ordinance. Yet when kids are running around at 10pm up and down the hallways they don’t do anything about it. I hate the double standard

The staybridge at Carson City is convenient if you are staying in the area more than a few days as each room has a kitchenette and a good size bathroom.
The rooms are decent but the kitchenettes are a little bit outdated. The weird thing is you have a full size refrigerator and a full size dishwasher but a tiny little sink. There is a two-burner cooktop & microwave but no air fryer or convection feature.
I had a room with one queen size bed that had a pull out sofa that was fairly comfortable and the kitchenette. While they do advise to call the front desk if you need anything, in terms of the kitchenette I had one very warped pot, no frying pan, one knife, two forks, one spoon and a dollar store spatula. The kitchen is pretty cramped for actual cooking, They feature that I personally need due to variety of food allergies.
My stay was during the winter so I did not have a chance to take advantage of the pool and I was there for work so I didn't get to take advantage of many of the amenities.
One thing that seems like a great feature is they had a happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 Monday through Wednesday featuring free beer and wine plus finger foods for 2 hours.
The front desk staff were always friendly and welcoming and that's always a plus. I always got a good parking spot and there is plenty in the area for shopping and other needs.
My room featured a Samsung TV but it only carried local channels and there was no guide so you had to actually turn the channels like it was 1972 to figure out what was on. It did have a screen mirroring feature and I do have a Samsung phone but it only worked one out of four or five times that I tried it.
Even though it said it was a smart TV there was no access to the Smart TV features such as streaming services etc.
Overall it's a decently priced hotel with friendly service and if you have a need to have a kitchen it's a good choice.
Walkability: You can easily walk to shopping and restaurants
Food and drinks: They do have a little mini shop downstairs with a few food items and necessities.

Terrible service, the receptionist made us wait more than 40 minutes to give us the room

So many reasons to love this hotel. One, the building itself is pretty new and is gorgeous inside and outside. As someone just visiting Carson City for work, the views are insanely beautiful. Aside from the great decor, the hotel staff is absolutely incredible. Every receptionist, cook, and other staff member I encountered have been so, so very kind and unbelievably helpful. For example, breakfast at hotels is often hard on my digestive system, but I discovered a breakfast food I could eat here! I asked the kitchen if there would be more other days, since they rotate through breakfast food here, and she assured me even if this food item wasn't out for everyone else, she would still make sure there was some for me. The hotel manager is also a wonderful human being. She brings so much enthusiasm to her work, and this passion then extends out through the rest of the staff. The rooms are beautiful. And you definitely can't go wrong with the excellent happy hours, free snack (which varied from wings to chili during my stay) and beer and wine every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm! Can't go wrong with free (included) dinner 3 nights of the week!!! Overall one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

I told guest reservations I had been driving all night and had to stop
They assured me if I drove to them I could get into my room asap. They scammed me. The hotel is locked. This place is run by con artists. Do not trust them.

Over all the stay was good but not the best. The Pro was The 2 room suite was both cozy and spacious and beds were comfortable. But we had to put all dishes back in their spot, soaps in bathrooms were empty and the glass shower door was actuallyoff its track. Unfortunately the 2 days breakfast was also a bust, and for the price of our stay at 1k I expect better. We purchased breakfast from town both days. Never seemed to keep up with the demand for food, plates and silverware. Felt as if it was a first come first serve nothing was never refilled or stay stocked. As our first time staying I would of liked to know how house keeping worked before hand so I could of requested it. Next time if we decide to visit from out of state my family and I know what to expect.
