Very clean, newer facility. Allowed pets. Appreciated the breakfast and social hour. Jody at the front counter had amazing customer service. She even called my pet by name.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights last week. It was very conveniently located close to the freeway and nearby stores and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Our room was a king suite and it was huge. It had a separate sleeping room and a living room area with the kitchen. The lobby had coffee ready all the time and a nice little snack shop. The breakfast was very good with several choices of food to eat. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again if I'm in the area.

Just finished staying here for three nights while on a work trip. TBH, I was kinda paranoid about what the hotel/rooms would look like considering the daily rate was under $100--- and living in Hawaii, a decent hotel room is about $350-$400 a night. I was happily surprised. The rooms are incredibly large and very clean. Loved the shower barn doors, the full kitchen, the couch, etc. The entire property is also very clean and well maintained.Outside of the aesthetics, I thought this place had great customer service. A couple of the managers made the rounds to greet us while we were hanging out in the lobby. The daily free breakfast is awesome, as is the complimentary laundry service. But the thing I enjoyed the most was the Wednesday "social" in the lobby. I believe they have these socials several times per week which includes free drinks (beer and wine) and free food. On the day I went, it was make your own soft tacos. I had three lol. They were delicious and I'm not exaggerating. The rice, chicken, beans, and flour tortillas were incredible. Only minor complaint is that there was only one elevator and it's incredibly slow. But I will take that any day of the week to stay at a place like this.

Super impressed with Staybridge. Absolutely clean rooms and common spaces with incredible staff. The manager checked in with guests during Social Hour and even called us asking how we liked our stay. I spoke with a number of guests who were here on long work jobs and they said they liked Staybridge for all of the extra perks. Social Hour is great and the breakfast is as well. All around great stay and the best hotel in the entire Tahoe, Reno, Carson, and Minden area. A+++

Have stayed here twice now. This recent trip on 8/5 was impromptu as we attempted to stay at a Hotel/Casino nearby (Gold Dust West) which ended up horrific. Thankfully Staybridge had 4 rooms available and i took one. The facility is very clean, smells fresh and staff is excellent. Very professional. Once again though, breakfast was .. kinda messy. We arrived within the alloted breakfast time, there were no plates no forks clean or available. We waited amongst other anxious hungry goers. Finally about 4 clean plates arrived with 4 forks. All breads/toast items gone. There was a small amount of cottage cheese, the eggs were sparse, potatoes over done (again) and some pieces too hard to eat. Cereal was the only option for my picky child was hoping for a waffle. All in all the breakfast needs definite improvement. Other then that the facility is great.

We came to this nice newer hotel but the bathroom exhaust fans in the hotel makes flapping noise or clicking sounds and if you are like me a light sleeper it will keenyouu or awake all night. Then I asked for another room and they sent me to the next room which had a non working microwave and that bathroom fan flapper was flapping and clicking in the first 30 seconds of being in the room. I do not recommend staying here .I asked for a discount on the room and they didn't want to accommodate me. All the Harare the same with the same fan . I don't know how can sleep like this

Starting with a call while we were stuck with snow and traffic that I made, the front desk was wonderful, comforting and reassuring. I think the gracious woman I talked to, and remembered our name for our stay, was KarinaCheck in just proved how wonderful they all were. The hotel and rooms are new and clean. The breakfast was great and all kinds of accommodations made because I wanted to take food to the room for my wife. Because of more snow to come and my health they checked us out a day early and didn't charge for the night we canceled. This is THE PLACE to stay in Carson City!

So my mother in law and my husband and I stay here this last Christmas through New Years. Things seemed ok at first but then when we left the nightmare begun. Fernando, who is the Manager of this location contacted us 3 months After we had stayed and said that they didn't have the card on file anymore and we owed a balance. We went back and forth for months after and things got very unprofessional with him. Needless to say we ended up talking with his manager and we did resolve the matter. But one would think at $200 a night, they would know what the heck they were doing. We will never ever recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely horrible experience and literally every time I drive by this place I have PTSD. You've been warned.

I'm afraid I'm lost as to why all the great reviews. Here was my experience of my 3-night stay. - No housekeeping on weekends. My stay was Fri.-Sun. So no housekeeping. Which mean no trash pick-up, fresh towels, bed made, etc. THIS IS A HOTEL THAT COSTS OVER $200/night!- I have a Service Dog. When I checked in the manager told me my dog would be required to wear a SD vest at all times. He was very nice about it, and rescinded it when I explained what the ADA regulations were. But why did I have to educate him about ADA?- When we got in the room my dog spent 20 min. sniffing and licking the carpet. I wonder when it was last vacuumed? And she kept trying to reach food under the sofa throughout our stay. Gross. - There is a dog relief area. Great...right? Well, I used the last poop bag on Fri. night. Told the front desk this, but it was never refilled. And the lighting is street lighting...nothing supplemental. You simply can't see well enough when it's dark. - I'm 5'2". The shower head was out of reach for me, so I couldn't adjust it. No handheld one. Remember...this place is over $200/night. - Received an email suggesting digital checkout. First time I tried I got an error. Second time I tried (several hours later) the website just spun and spun. I stay in many different hotels, Airbnbs, etc. throughout the year. This was my first visit to an IHG one. And my last. Overpriced, dirty, no housekeeping...yeah. No.

We stayed in a 2-bed room suite for 3 nights. I took my elderly parents and my dogs to Reno area for a short trip. My 88 year old father has dementia so it was likely our last trip together. We chose this location because it's close to Reno, Virginia City and Tahoe. We loved the hotel. It's very new and clean. We also felt very safe. Everyone, including other residents was very friendly and caring. I want especially thank the night clerk, Roberta for her kindness. My father doesn't sleep much during the night. One night he burnt some food in the microwave by overheating it. He set off the smoke alarm. Although we cleaned it up, he was upset and insisted on going to sit in the lobby. I explained to Roberta about the situation and his condition. After finally located my father, he stayed in the lobby from 3 am, and my mom and I were able to sleep for a few hours. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.Since we returned home, I have already recommended Staybridge suite to everyone I talked to. I will definitely stay at Staybridge again.P.S. after the smoke alarm incident, I took a closer look at the microwave and the stove. Both appliances have "lock"features to prevent them from accidentally turned on. I was even more impressed.

Staybridge Suites - Tahoe Area is what they market this location as. Well, it's not exactly really in the direct Tahoe Area, as Lake Tahoe is a 40 minute drive away to any attraction at the Lake. But we stayed here this time anyways as the price was sure a lot lower than anything up at the Lake. Plus, these rooms include a full kitchen, minus an oven. So, if you wanted to cook and save money going out or were staying for work like for a month, this would be the place to stay. This location is just over a year old, so everything is all in good shape. The location is easy to get to and outside food is available, though it's Del Taco and gas station fried chicken across the street. Walmart is just across the way. Mon Tues and Wed, there's even a free happy Hour with all you can drink beer and wine and light dinner. We only made it once as there were too many nice other place to go out to eat.Check in went easy and we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite! Pays to be an IHG Rewards member! The room is all nice and new looking and everything worked, though the main TV was not accessible to connect a HDMI cable to hook up the laptop to stream Netflix. The WiFi was great speed for a hotel. About 50Mbs UP and DOWN loading. Easy posting pics to Yelp!A few thing kept this from a 5 star place. For one the desk chair has NO wheels and does not adjust up or down like most normal office chairs hotels have. The shower head is a bit stingy with the water flow, yeah it works, but I wish I brought my highflow German head from home. The dishes and utensils are all sanitized for you in the dish washer, so you know there's no germies. The food for breakfast is always the same. You get scrambled eggs, home fries potatoes, pork sausage links, bacon for hot foods. There's various toasts, but NO English Muffins like most the other hotel breakfasts. I love English Muffins! Coffee is out 24/7 so that's a good thing. The staff is all very accommodating even for the most demanding guests. THe pool and hot spa are all very nice and the fire pit is romantic in the evening. Sure, I'll stay here again as it makes a good place to go to all my fave Tahoe places

Just a great hotel for a business traveler. The room has full size fridge and freezer (with an ice maker) - just great to have ice in the room and not have to walk to an ice machine every night. Stove top, microwave, dishwasher, stocked dishes and pans- great set up. Great courtyard with gas bbq grills. Breakfast each morning with eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes with all the side fixings. I was there a night with a reception with beer, wine, soft drinks - all on tap and great chicken wings. And the staff were pleasant and friendly. A+ all around.

This place is amazing! Great location, clean, brand new hotel, incredibly friendly staff, yummy breakfast, and evening socials Mon - Wed, with beer and food. They also accept dogs, if you travel with your furry friends. They even have dog bones at the front desk! The rooms are plenty comfortable with a desk, kitchenette, couch, etc. Also, there is screaming fast internet, for anyone that needs to take meetings from the hotel (no problems with video going through).I travel to Carson City often for work and have hosted client meetings in their conference space, which is fairly large and comfortable. Working with Stu, the manager that oversees this, is such a pleasure. He goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is comfortable during the meetings and coordinates catering, if desired. They have restaurants very close (definitely walking distance) and the hotel is just off highway 580, if you are passing through. Don't hesitate to book a room here!
