“We came from the east coast on vacation with our son on vacation and discovered this place! Decided to go in because we loved the name! We were not disappointed! The staff and owner are warm and kind and a pleasure to talk to. The prices are perfect and they have a little of everything.”
“How about 14 years ago? I bought so much stuff at this store. Wonderful prices. I just talked with the owner and will help me outfit my new apartment once I moved back to Carson City Nevada. Very good. My name is Fred Garcia of course and I would recommend this thrift store and it's because you can talk with the owner and He will work with you. He will find stuff for you and he will make you happy with any purchase. I'm very happy to shop there again and again when I get back ???☮️‼️‼️‼️”
“I found a wonderful better homes & gardens kitchen set today. They have a separate standalone antique section with wonderful things. It's a very nice and clean store. The workers were very helpful. Chelsia was very cool and wrapped up my plates very securely.”
“My daughter and I came into this store earlier this month because she saw chicken related items. I abided because we had time to browse. She accidentally broke something that was a dollar and we went home, brought a dollar from her savings and went to pay and explained what she was paying for. The cashier politely turned down the cash offering and explained that being honest pays. I am aware of the activities FISH does in the rural Nevada community, and the store workers do a good job reflecting FISH'S values.”
“Friendly nice employees I usually always find something there, I do believe the prices are too high as is everything else, I feel bad for the young families trying to raise children, things are not cheap at the thrift stores as they used to be. Sad but true.
They have a great variety of things.”
“I am an avid thrifter, and although some of the lower reviews make good points, let me touch on something's: -Certain associates go above and beyond, while others rarely smile, let alone talk. You choose the establishments where you'll tolerate below standard service and this is one for me. I, now, know who is friendly and choose to converse with them and remain kind to the others. -prices are a bit high BUT the brands are more recognizable and the clothes are usually in great condition. -THIS STORE IS SIZED. This is my #1 complaint about 85% of stores in the area. This Goodwill is sized and organized very well. -They have fitting rooms! They do close before the store closes, but only a few minutes. -The toy section never gets a complaint from my gremlins. My kids always walk out with 1 (or 12) toys. -Clean bathrooms I'm here at least three times a month and I don't see that changing, so don't take my word for it, I don't want you buying the stuff I like. ;)”
