Regarding Gabriel – Employee 178504I went to UPS to return some things I bought online. This store uses UPS for returns. So, I got to the store, and it took me a few minutes to bring all the boxes in as there was several of them. Gabriel was the only person available to help at the time. The other worker was busy in the back. As I stood there holding the final two boxes, Gabriel skipped helping me to help another customer. After that customer, he nodded to the next customer, not me, but I quickly hopped to the register and told him that I did not want to be skipped again. Gabriel gave the excuse that he thought I was still bringing in boxes, even though I was standing there waiting with the final boxes and shipping label in hand.Gabriel became negative and defensive. First, he told me that all the boxes I had need to be in one box, our would need to have multiple shipping labels. His attitude and posture indicated that he was unwilling to help me even though I was at the UPS, which should have boxes. I asked him if he had boxes. Gabriel said the largest they had was a 24 X 24 box, and that my smaller boxes would not all fit. He then said I should go to Walmart because they had more affordable boxes. Understanding that his depth perception might be off, and that he does not understand that he works for a SHIPPING store, I asked him to bring out the box anyway. He told me that it would cost $10, and again suggested I could get a more affordable box at Walmart. At this point, I'm extremely aggravated.Gabriel proceeds to bring out a used box. I pointed out that it was used, and his retort was that there was nothing wrong with the box, and that it was in good condition. I then told him that if he's going to pull out a used box, it must be free. He said it was not free. I then asked if it was appropriate to sell used boxes to customers. I'm thinking, 'what kind of upside-down world am I in right now?' I asked the customers who were waiting "Isn't this what UPS is supposed to be about? Selling boxes, shipping things, and finding solutions for customers?"Gabriel finally brought out a brand-new box. Lo and behold! The boxes all fit into the large box. It was only after we were about to finish the transaction that he showed any type of remorse for his very poor attitude. He also gave me the receipt but cut off the QR code so that I could not leave feedback. I left disappointed and reluctant to purchase anything online unless I am 100% sure I won't have to return to UPS again for a long, long time.

I will say that when I first started coming to this UPS I was skeptical because it seemed outdated. I won't think that again! The staff went above and beyond for me and my business today. I am so glad they were able to retrieve my package that I mislabeled. I was freaking out and the staff members thought that the driver had picked it up already so I walked out and they had continued looking in the back and they came out to my car and told me they found them!! By a miracle! I am so grateful ? to the staff. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE ALWAYS! I also LOVE how they have the Amazon return and prepaid label kiosk now! Makes it sooo much easier for me to get in and out quickly.

Gabriel, possibly the manager was treating a trainee like trash. He was belittling her in front of me, a customer. Making her feel small and he was saying off the wall smudge comments to her under his breath. She was obviously new and he wasn’t doing anything to train her to help her improve.

VERY friendly and professional staff. I've never encountered any employee there that's rude. NICE people. The store's prices are extremely high compared to just going to Pirateship online ... but the store itself is nice and tidy and delightful staff!

Recently lost everything I own to a fire. Today I needed to do several things to comply to get insurance pay out In timely fashion. Being technology challenged I was extremely nervous to get it right the first time around. Gabriel was SO kind and patient! He helped me thru each step with with unbelievable empathy and compassion. Customer service extraordinare and remarkable kindness!! I will never forget this Angel in my time of great need. Thank you is not enough!!

If you return something to Amazon here it can take a week to 10 days because they're are understaffed (according to them, even though I saw three employees and only one customer)

Don't trust this store to ship your packages to Europe. THREE MONTHS ago I sent a package to Austria. UPS charged an extra 18 Euros to the receiving party and THEN LOST THE PACKAGE before delivering it. I tried to file a claim for the $300 I lost in shipping and merchandise and the clerk took my information and lied saying he had filed a claim. Now UPS corporate says there was never a claim filed. I'm out over $300 and they refuse to give me a refund at all! I'll never use this UPS Store again and I certainly don't recommend it!I would give this 0 stars if I could!! The owner/manager is a thief.
