This Walgreens needs help. I came to pickup photos and stood over there in the photo section for a while and an employee looked at me like 5 times but continued to stock items so I waited in the main line which was busy and held up. The cashier called for backup twice who was the employee who kept stocking and then they sent the new guy who was training to get my photos and he did. I had to get back in the long line to get checked out. I left and drove away and thankfully checked my order because they gave me some random persons photos but it had my name and order printed on the box so that wasn't the new guys fault. I had to get a refund and pay the difference for my actual order. It was just too long of a process for no reason and I felt bad for the main cashier who was doing her best to get the line moving and train. This Walgreens needs more staff or someone responding when a backup call is made. When I went to get my actual order and do the exchange there were 2 more employees there all of a sudden 😑

One of the cashiers always has her kids running around the store & attempting to sell candy to the customers which isn’t that bad except the last time I came in she said they were sick & they gave it to her. Excuse me?? Have some common courtesy & don’t be spreading germs to people who may be immunocompromised it’s a freaking drug store!

I called in (5) total prescriptions for (3) days to cover an extended work trip. I was told the (15 totals pills would 2 hours to fill/ put together). I arrived 4 hours after my call & the pharmacists time quote.
When I arrived they had (2 prescriptions ready/ 6 pills total). Then they explained the other 9 pills/ 3 prescriptions would be ready in (7) days.
Seriously? So I waited an additional 30 minutes to get the other 9 pills/ 3 prescriptions prepared. With (5) Employees I expected more from Walgreens.
My suggestion is… SWITCH TO CVS

Always friendly, always helpful and always smiling. Staff is courteous and polite and most always acknowledges the customers when entering the store. Great variety of goods including full pharmacy, household, beauty, seasonal, cold beverages and snack items. Theres a photoshop that can also provide passport pbotos. Something is alwaays on sale and they have extended hours , closing at 10:00pm.

New to the area and never used this Walgreens before, couldn’t even get someone on the phone to fix an error with my RX. Literally sat on hold for over 45 minutes and that was after my call repeatedly dropped. They just pick up and put you back on hold over and over again. Going to switch to Walmart from now on.

Every damn time I’m waiting for my meds I’m waiting at least 30 mins. Up to 1 hour. Just to PICK UP. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you need the pharmacy.

Matthew, the pharmacist we had to deal with, never called the doctor or us that he couldn't fill our prescription. When I arrived and learned this, I called the doctor to see if the RX could be changed. He said yes, and asked me to hand the phone to Matthew. He refused, saying the doctor had to call the main number. Of course, no one answered (it's Walgreens) so the doctor called back, and STILL Matthew refused to take my phone. So the doctor tried again, and after seven minutes Matthew finally answered (I would understand the need for a direct call if their was some ID protocol involved, but there isn't. Their phones are so old they don't even show the incoming number, and, since i could hear the call, Matthew never asked for any type of info from the doctor to confirm who was calling except what the RX needed to change to.) Then, when I asked him how much he thought the new RX would be, he curtly replied "just take a seat, sir". (BTW, there were no other customers at this point.) How about an ETA, Matt? "Take a seat." 35 minutes to get this worked out. I have already filed a complaint with the pharmacy board, and have had all our prescriptions sent to CVS. Stay far away from this Walgreens!

I wish I didn’t have to give even 1 star. I see everyone has the same experience here. Do yourself a favor, go to Walmart pharmacy. I walked in because my insulin pod broke leaving me without any insulin, my blood sugar went up to nearly 400 even though I chose not to eat due to the pod. I’m here from out of town at my son’s baseball tournament, so I had to think quickly since we a far from home and I have Kaiser. I know Humulin R is over the counter so I go to Walgreens and ask if I can buy a vial. A very rude young lady tells me it’s prescription only. I know this is incorrect but I want to move quickly so I say I had a lifetime prescription at the Yuba city Walgreens when I used to not have Kaiser can she check her system for that. Her response was no you can call Kaiser and transfer it. Now I’m pissed. I hand her my Kaiser card and tell her to call, she says they’re closed. I tell her she is bad at her job and this is more serious than she is taking it, when the pharmacist comes over and says we don’t even have Humulin R and federal law dictates I go to the emergency room. I say you are bad at your job too, is there a Walmart near by I can walk in and buy it there, she responds we are not responsible for your bad planning, use your phone. I walk into Walmart ask for some insulin they charge me $25 and thank me for coming. Now crisis averted. Train your employees and care about your clients. Y’all can do better. Know your business too. If you’re interested in doing the right thing more than being right. You can actually help people.

It simply amazes me that it takes them so long to fill an rx. It is never done when it's supposed to be. I walk in for 5 rx's. 4 are ready, but they can't tell me when the 5th will be ready. You all really need to hire some help in the pharmacy.

More times than not refill is late requiring multiple electronic requests from doctor and multiple phone calls from doctors office.
Last time it was 10 days late, costing me days off from work not to mention the considerable pain I'm forced to endure.

Employees are good for the most part. This Walgreens is disgusting. Dirty floors that look they haven't been waxed in years plus the "forever" piles boxes across from the bathrooms. Speaking of restrooms, bathrooms are messy debris on floor. Even the check stands are full of clutter. Items scattered all over shelves. Most products are terminally low or out of stock. It looks like the store management doesn't care or is unequipped to provide a clean, stocked store for customers. The OTC area is satisfactory. Customer experience is horrible! Very underwhelming. Employees are good though. Especially T she was wonderful. nice and courteous. It speak volumes that the positive reviews are only from Pharmacy and pharmacy related services.

This is the worst place for prescriptions. I have had nothing but problems since switching here from Smiths due to the insurance that I have. Smiths would always let me pick up my medication a day early when I was in town and this place refuses. They have gotten my prescriptions wrong on two occasions and overcharged. When I contacted the insurance company they said that they approved the medication and it was sent back by the pharmacy. The minute Smiths starts accepting my new insurance I’m out of this terrible pharmacy.
