I got racially profiled. I had bought 3 items and once I was leaving the manger followed me out. There weren't any employees checking the receipts at the exit . The manger then asked for my receipt I said sure and gave it to him. He then proceeded to examine the receipt as if it was fake or something. He gave it back to me and didn't say a word and just left. There was once again no one checking receipts at the exit

This Yelp is for the tire and Lube at Walmart . The staff here in the store are the best I've ever encountered at any Walmart across the country. The staff is always friendly and look to help you. You can't pay employees to be kind but these guys are always so awesome. Thank You Carson City Walmart for having friendly staff that are always pleasant to work with.

We ordered dinner to pick up, they forgot to add our meats, when we called they wouldnt go grab the item, forced us to call their hotline, no help... and we still need meat for dinner! Horrible customer service!!! Went to Raleys! The Walmart member who brought the food out was polite and kind. Give credit where credit is due.

Walmart just sucks, pure and simple. Customer service sucks, trying to check out can be a nightmare. Go to Smiths, better customer service, easier checking our, and a lot less negative attitude than you get at Walmart.

2 check stands open and the lines are long and I can see 5 associates standing around doing nothing. I guess customer service doesn't mean much here.

Consistent with the Walmart brand meaning that the further you get from Bentonville, the less quality you can expect. At this location, it started with the cart corrals being nearly full and some trash in the parking lot.Inside, some items were out of stock and the shelves clearly weren't leveled. I found the snacks I needed for the van and only had a medium wait to ring up my own purchases at a self-checkout. Like many stores, they're increasingly moving away from registers with an associate and instead these "Scan and go" stations.Restrooms were in need of attention but not terrible. Some hand towels on the floor and the bin was nearly full. Water on the counters, too.I've seen better. I've seen a lot worse. yelp.com/collection/iEN8… This is my first Walmart in Nevada![Review 17687 overall - 33 in Nevada - 1208 of 2022.]

Just wondering why the employees (most of them) were not wearing any protective gear? Common Walmart, you can do better than that!!

I bring my glasses here 4 times a year for tightening and adjusting. They're happy to do it at no charge. Occasionally, they have a nice sale on frames or other accessories. A friend even turned me on to their eyeglass cleaning cloths. Incredibly cheap and they do a great job. PRO TIP: Keep a close eye on prices. We began noticing almost two years ago that the price on the shelf isn't always the price at the register. Conservatively speaking about twenty times, so far. As a result, we never buy more than two dozen items per visit and we photograph the price listed on the shelf. We usually have one mistake to rectify. I'm really curious how many hundreds of thousands were invested in redesigning the front end of the store. They quadrupled the number of self scan units and I don't see very many people use them. I laugh my a** off each time we come in. I bet that money could have been spent differently. In a more humane fashion? Unless the line is tremendously long, I just go through the cashier lane, anyway. This is still an essential place for last minute items, middle of the night items and of course low cost items. We grocery shop the sale stuff, look at seasonal clothes and head to the electronics area to find reduced bluRay movies that we'll never ever watch. 11/19

I drove from South Lake Tahoe (40 min drive) to have my tires rotated and oil changed. After an hour I got my car back to find out they didn't rotate my tires. When I asked if the tires had gotten rotated, he said "no" and just handed me the keys. No questions, nothing. I then inquired about having it done because I had requested it when I arrived. And the entire reason I even made the trip down to Walmart! He said it would be another 45 min, which I couldn't do because I didn't have 45min to spare. No resolutions, no- hey next time you come in we will take care of it. Nothing. Just a "welp, sorry". Unless they come up with some sort of resolution I will NEVER give my service to them again.

I shop at Walmart regularly. I don't know if it's just the Walmart in Carson City Nevada or all of them, but now they want to scan and check your receipts as you walk out of the store with your groceries. WTH? Please stop. Does anybody who steals their groceries actually stop and show the receipt? Give me a break. And even if they did, what is the Greeter guy gonna do? We all know, nothing! Unlike Costco which is a private membership, which perhaps you can lose if you refuse to do this, Walmart has no authority and no handle other than to take advantage of regular law abiding people who don't know they can just keep walking. And while some of us just walk out, lots of others actually stop, and cause a bottleneck. What's more, they don't actually check your receipt against the items in your basket. Rather, they just scan the receipt to see if it is from a different date. Not sure what they would do I f it was? If their goal is to get sued, they would try to put their hands on someone or hinder them from leaving in anyway. Please stop Walmart. This is not doing anything except annoying and causing your loyal customers to stand in lines, after they already paid, over some ill-fated experiment.
