The new management that this store has is absolutely amazing. From the cleanliness of the store to how friendly the staff is, is absolutely a great shopping experience.

I like it because the prices are a bit better than Smiths on a few things (mostly soda), but the last couple times they’ve not had self checkout working and only one register which at times can get backed up. The lady at the register said it was because people were stealing items. If that’s the case Smiths should close theirs down. Oh the humanity. I just like to go in, get my stuff and leave. I like self checkouts so I don’t have to deal with people or lines for the most part. Give us our self checkout back!

I was just in this dollar general picking up some toilet paper I couldn’t believe how clean it was you can walk down every aisle this has to be the cleanest dollar general I’ve ever been to I also used the bathroom it also was clean thank you to the staff at DG in Dayton NV ps thank you Austin for being helpful and friendly

Very convenient for short errands and usually you are in and out right away unless your clerk and manager is sitting outside in a car smoking weed!

The store smells like Marijuana constantly. The employees reak of alcohol. Why would such a big chain deal with that. I'm scared to bring my children therer

This Dayton NV location recently added fresh fruits and vegetables, which is very handy for those of us that don't feel like going to the beer stores.That's have great prices on milk and beer and eggs and just basic things as well as a whole bunch of the drugstore type itemsExperience all of the checkers here have been quite friendly and they're great job.

The manager Tabitha is a completely unprofessional. She yells at customers because she doesn't like to help them at the registers, she has terrible social skills and she always smells unkempt. The store is a mess, especially the frozen food and drink sections, which should be priority with it being summer and all. There's always been issues within this facility, weather it be in-stock, safety or customer service. An absolute embarrassment.

I'm embarrassed to have gone in to this store. First of all, nobody was there and for good reason. The prices here are more expensive than an AM/PM. They should call it the $5 dollar waste of time. If you want something for a dollar, you'll get a cloths hanger. Was a joke.

Between the Dollar General in Dayton and the store out in Silver Springs, the Dayton store takes the cake hands down. If you're expecting decent customer service skills at either store don't waste your time shop somewhere else I forfit. Have shopped at both stores one too many times the gal's at both stores especially the Dayton store are always rude, don't even look up and acknowledge your customer is standing there just start pushing buttons and cram your stuff in bags fast all the while talking about your private life on the phone, " really! " if your gonna make personal phone calls do it on your break if you don't mind, not while your ringing out customers groceries, that happened to me today, I'm tired of cashiers rudeness, I work too hard for my money having just spent alittle here and be the only one to say thank you as I'm leaving with my groceries, feels like I'm saying thank you for letting me buy groceries here, "news flash" you should be so lucky I even opted to shop here. I'm done and will not be shopping at any Dollar Generals anywhere in the future, I'd rather drive alittle further and pay alittle more money at a bigger more well known and respected food chain just to be treated alittle more politely ...
