So first the staff at smiths pharmacy in Dayton has ALWAYS been professional and kind, though they seems to be losing that completely, being short. Though today when trying to call in for a post-surgical prescription that was supposed to be filled yesterday for my mother. Who ever OPENED ON 11/07/25 Kept putting the call on hold for numerous cycles and then hanging up, after having me wait for 20+ minutes at a time, without answering or acknowledging or saying ANYTHING. I absolutely get that they are busy, I put majority of responsibility on MANAGEMENT for understaffing for years this particular pharmacy. But, who ever OPENED on this day and decided they just were not going to answer the phone, and put people on hold endlessly, then hang up. Is unprofessional, to the core and needs to be replaced or removed from their role, it's enough to have staff be short, snappy. It is NOT the customers fault for whatever they are dealing with. Horrible, inept service.

Can never get a hold of anyone at the store unless you go in, after going in with them sending text saying my stuff is ready to find out it’s not, my medications are life saving medications for high blood pressure, when call they put you on hold and then hang up on you

The counter person told us our prescription was rejected by our doctor, then the pharmacist (Mr. Yoa, or Yao told us it wasn't approved yet. When we questioned him on which it was he got an attitude and got angry at us. Very poor customer service. If I could rate 0 stars I would!!!

They never have anything ready when you get there to pick up when they send you a notification to pick up. Then they always tell you it will be at least an hour its like they aren't even doing there job unless you show up to pick up

They don't know the difference between Lacri lube for optical use and systane ointment, they are the same. Asked about the one they didn't have and no idea of the other one which was as good..

I have been going here for years. Never had any problems. Pharmacists are doing exactly what they are supposed to.

Most of them are rude, hang up on me on the phone when they decide to answer and are basically just unhappy people. Get new jobs if you can't handle people

Pharmacy Counter people act like children. Very rude. They do not take pride in there work. It shows and I would not trust them .I Would much rather drive to Carson City.

Can be hit or miss on items but has gotten better on keeping major items/fan favorites in stock. Variety has disappeared a bit from the store.The store is always clean and the staff members are always friendly and helpful.
