Messed up my car radio. Didn’t bother to fix it or refund me. This placed has screwed me over twice. Would not recommend at all. The workers don’t know what they are doing there.

I took my truck with no problems on my sound system, just not enough power and I spoke to a guy two weeks prior to the appointment about it and he said that they can check it out to see if I can add more stuff or just my equipment is not that good, when I got my truck back they charged me $280 just to dropped all power on my amps and they also broke one amp and they didn’t said anything about it, they just offered me a new system, now I lost my money and my amp, I just wanted an opinion of what I got now and If there was room to improve on my system

Can't say I recommend this company the owner is very judgmental ,communication is definitely not there, They charge you for a diagnosis and don't do it nothing is ever their fault even though you can prove that it is. They will hold your car hostage.. They definitely lost a good opportunity. I will not take any of my vehicles here anymore. I Don't think they care. The owner literally said that he's rich He doesn't really care .. but I sure do They give mechanics a bad name. Thanks to them. I have trust issues I definitely understand all the ones Star reviews I don't understand all the five one I suspect drinking? I would say don't go to these guys. There's plenty of better mechanics that actually do what charge you .. I wish the best for this company but I can't be a part of people that like to lie to you. Take advantage of you and steal from you and it sucks because I really wanted it to work :(

I have a 2012 Honda accord I bought it less than a year ago 65k miles great car great condition.D.C Auto improperly installed my breathalyzer. Which in turn killed multiple batteries for my car. I tried to ask them to fix the parasitic draw from the improper install and they gaslit me and said it was a starter issue and id have to pay $600 to fix it cause they had to go thru the intake manifold (BS). My car never had a starter issue b4 they touched my car, plus I've never heard of a starter turning over because of a jump from another car. D.C Auto is a chop shop and should be reported to the better business bureau.

Waste of time and money. Im now out about 1000$ and they fixed nothing.took it in because vehicle kept turning off due to dying battery, not only did they not find the problem they charged me close to 250 for diagnostic alone. I wish i could get the time i spent back.

A terrible shady man. Terrible business experience. I was traveling by visiting some friends and my car had an injector problem. All he did was unplug the injector and said that it was fixed and charged me $400. Would NOT recommend.

My experience with DC auto was great at the beginning. The first time I reached out to them, they promptly responded and got my vehicle in that day. They commented about what was going on, and they stayed late to assure the vehicle would be done that day. They even tried to stay within by budget to get the vehicle mechanically sound. The second time I reached out to them I had bent a lower control arm, they had the vehicle for two days and I had to reach out to them for any communication or updates. The third time I took a vehicle there I had a 9am appointment that I scheduled via messenger for an oil change and emissions testing. When I showed up for said 9am appointment I was met with "oh, I remember telling you to come in at 9am but forgot to schedule you. Let me add you before someone scheduleds that time.". They asked me if it would be ok to keep the vehicle overnight due to a "logjam" I agreed. The next day I needed the vehicle back so they allowed me to pick it up unfinished. I was told they did the oil, but ran into electric issues when doing the emissions when I got into my vehicle a bang energy drink and a code reader had been left in my car. I let them know and the scanner was removed. I had to take the vehicle back to finish the emissions issue. The last time I took my vehicle they had it for a few hours then notified me it was ready to pick up. Upon pick up they told me it was not an issue with my purge valve but a gas cap. When I got to my vehicle I had noticed they put 30 miles on the vehicle. I will not be taking my vehicles back to DC auto. I don't know what happened after that first visit but after my last visit. Never again... 30 miles on a vehicle even to test drive it is a bit excessive.

I am not a customer, I just gave a friend a ride. However, after my experience giving my friend a ride, I can say, I never will be a customer here. It was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. My advice to anyone in Elko, do your research, ask around. You have options. Don't accept abuse, in any form, from a business. If you are my friend, and use DC Automotive, ask someone else for a ride, because I will never go back there.

They wanted $300 to wire in a new stereo. Really bad price. Best Buy $99. This is the problem with buy local Elko.

I am so grateful and forever in debt with these good hearted people! Traveling from California to Kansas to deal with the passing of my father and my heat went out they fixed me up for my kids thank you so much DC auto I truly appreciate it good people.

I am so greatful for DC Auto. I was driving to Portland from Las Vegas and my water pump went out. I got towed they we're able to fix it for me the next day on a Sunday! They got the work done and helped me out immensely. They even gave me a discount. Highly recommend

So a year ago I wrote a review that was very negative about the owner of this company,I was tired of the world and how it seems like every mechanic in my town does shady work at a high cost,truth is99% of the bad review is and was because of ME.I just want y'all to know that I've recently have gone back to David to work on my vehicle, this guy is super knowledgable,curtious and willing to help you at as much as he can,he knows diesels I think better than Nephs and certainly doesnt charge a arm and a leg to fix things like the other diesel Mechanics in the area,I was totally wrong for my past negative review,but ever so right in going back to D.C auto for my mechanics needs.Trust him, hes a good man.

I took my car in assuming it needed one sensor replaced. They offered for the one sensor to be replaced or offered to hook it up and fine everything that was wrong. They where very forward with the cost as well. With the grocery list of items wrong with my vehicle, working on other vehicles and being short staffed they where still able to get it done in one day. They even stayed late to finish everything up. The price was not to bad especially with how much was done. My car has been running great. I will definitely be back! If you need work done I definitely recommend this company!
