The facility is understaffed to many kids per classroom. The teachers are not very informative on the curriculums. And what they are doing in their classes.

Do not send your kid here. Its more of a day care then a pre school. My kids came back all the times with more marks then left with with no explanation. Diaper rashes everday. When inquired about what was going on cheri the manager was very rude and dismissive.

For over 50 years, Head Start of Northeastern Nevada has provided comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to young children and their families throughout Elko County. We are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and licensed with the Department of Health and Human Services - Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH). All of our staff are CPR Certified, have passed comprehensive background checks, and complete at least 24 hours of training annually.
