I had some questions on an I.R.S and direct deposit information. I had an appointment with a lady at 1:30 pm on April 11th 2025. I got to it sat down and she asked a question as I was in the middle of answering she rudely interrupted and then asked another question. As I was answering she rudely interrupted again. After 5or6 times of the same exact thing I just got up and left. She was a rude person and should be fired. You shouldn't treat anyone like that regardless of how bad your day is going. I will never return to the Elko HandR block

I have been a faithful customer for over 12 years in Las Vegas NV. When I sat down with the senior tax analyst in Elko NV. I discussed my past filings with H&R Block, which I stated the tax records of which were in the H&R Block previous records for reference and again emphasized I did not want to file a loss and that I had more deductions than I needed so it was quite possible we wouldn’t be able to use all the deductions. We went over the vehicles, I listed all the vehicles the company owns and ones that had been taken out of service and the total mileage for each…When she went to enter all the income she stated her computer showed forty some thousand less than I made… for 0ver 30 minutes she added and re-added and added again and still couldn’t get her program to add the correct income finely she asked someone how to do it.She told me the business was showing a 30 thousand loss. I said I cannot take a loss I don’t want to be audited, it was a nightmare to argue with her, to take anything else off I pleaded with her until the loss was a 3 thousand and she refused to take any more off. Then find out she was charging me 900 dollars….i guess I paid for at least and hour of the time she had to add over and over the company income and fight with her computer program to get it to accept the figures, plus all the time she decided to take the standard deductions never told me and then went back and had to take out the regular exemptions not even deleting all of them which had she told me she was doing I would have not given her the expenses and then she lectured me on how I could not take both…,,I have never paid over 450 in all the years with H&R Block, this years taxes were the same as all the years before.She didn’t delete my out of service vehicle, I told her it was not used in the company any longer and added usage anywayShe added way too much usage on another vehicle. She never even discussed the usage on this with me .She stated we were a local freight company which we are not even after I repeated over and over the we are nation wide and not local it makes a huge difference on the standard deductions you can claim, apparently she claimed standard deductions and didn’t tell me and still took my regular expenses off which you can’t do, she fixed one of the the deductions but not the rest because she refused to take the rest of the losses off, so this one fact along with all the other issues will red Flagg my company with the IRS and cause my company to be audited… I am beyond angry I honestly asked her in the beginning if she was knowledgeable all she had to say to me is no!! I’m never coming back to H& R Block!

I went and had my taxes done in the office and they charged my close to 400 dollars because I have a child tax credit. For the simple process of filling out the tiny form which i could have done myself and would only have had to pay 88. Live and learn. Never again will I be swindled out of more money from them. My mother just went and she was charged far less and she has investments.

I have filed in past with no issues. I called to set up an appointment and asked if the fees for filing were due up front or could be taken out of the return. Was told it could be taken out of the return, went ahead and filed with them. Emailed them with no email back and was told fee was due up front. Upfront pricing, not really.

I was told it would be fifty dollars to have HR look at my taxes. When I went to get my forms it was 305. Everyone denied every saying it would be fifty dollars. Don't go there. Rip off

Trash I waited 8 months for them to tell me that the IRS trashed my tax papers and they didn't tell me this the 4 times I called in those 8 months then refilled them supposedly and 2 months later 10 months in total the IRS says they don't have my tax papers unacceptable they should all be fired from the Elko branch
