The people there are very friendly and they will even help you and tell you to check online because they will price match and even though they're the same-store as online. online can be cheaper

Customer service was awesome! Very Pet friendly as expected. However, lack of available sizes in harnesses and variety of clothing of all sizes. Hopefully this will improve.

ABSOLUTELY ZERO STAR FROM ME! they claimed a very very thin and weak baby dragon wasnt dying. it shared a enclosure with two active dragons that is already bigger than it is, and geckos is so thin pracially flat. fishes tanks FILTHY and some has dead fishes in them. VERY SAD EXCUSE OF PETCO and Manager didnt care, she claimed dying dragon wasnt dying! SADIST.

Your staff was understaffed.
They worked so hard to help me with mu new fish tank. They were professional and kind and efficient.
However, the theft in the store must be hi.
There is no way only 2 people on the floor can watch them. Elko NV is a great store.

Excellent customer service. But your lighting could use some work. A lot of your lights are out and makes the building look dark and poor. Many fish tanks have at least one light out. Also ceiling tiles missing.

Yesterday I came into Petco to make an appointment to have my dog groomed and bought a 14 pound bag of Whole Hearted dog food grain free. A week prior I had bought dog food with grain, he was having a
reaction to it so I asked if I could return it in a clean black garage bag the next day 3-27-24 I was told that they aren't supposed to but since I spend so much money here It shouldn't be a problem this once, and I want to state that there where 3 other customers standing behind me when the other associate made it a point to humiliate her by telling her you really shouldn't be making up your own rules. Not only was it rude but it was uncalled for. I understand rules and regulations thats not what I was upset about I was upset about how this young lady was being treated, that young lady knows how to keep a good paying customer however the other associate knew exactly how to cost you one.

I had booked a pet grooming appointment for 7:30 AM. I made sure I was 5 minutes late. So Stella would not end up in a kennel, cause she doesn't like it. There was NO ONE else there and they still tried to make her go in a kennel. Then they told me I needed to call them directly and schedule a VIP appointment and pay $15.00 more. Why do they make you schedule an appointment when they can't keep it.

I've been to alot of Petco's through out Northern Nevada and Petco was not my 1st choice because of past experiences at diffrent petco stores, but my wife encouraged me to go to this one in Elko and give it a try and like a good husband I agreed to go try this one out.
I was very impressed on how well the store was stocked organized and how absolutely nice the staff was. Dawn the store manager saw my wife and I looking at dog bowls for our great danes and she was such a force of positive, welcoming energy but not only that you can obviously tell she has the best job, by here pure love and compassion for animals. Dawn and her staff have completely changed my opinion on Petco, so much so that if I need anything for my dogs, lizards or cats, I'm going specifically here.
I live an hour away from this location but to me and because how much of an impact Dawn and here staff made on me, I will continue to come here because the drive is worth it specifically for this store.
