This place is great. I walk back in time to the old west. The food is family style so you will not go home hungry. The service was great. The place is right out of the old west. You have to try a picon punch!!! Highly recommend

The Star Hotel & Bar offers a rich history, unique recipes and European atmosphere. A favorite among locals and travelers alike, you will always find good eats, classic drinks and a few Basque locals when you visit The Star. Many refer to The Star as the Best Steakhouse in Elko!
The Star Restaurant & Bar is open Monday through Saturday for dining and drinks. The bar stays open later hours when busy. Make sure to check our website for a schedule of live music on weekends.
Although Hotel is in our name, we do not currently have rooms for rent.
Salud Catering & The Star Hotel offer full-service catering in Northern Nevada for small gatherings and large parties.
