These guys are awesome!! I was traveling through Ely Friday night and blew a hub on my enclosed car trailer. I was dead in the water. I showed up at 8am Saturday. They got to me right away had the exact part I needed and they helped me install it and got me 2 new tires and I was on my way in 45 minutes. Highly recommend Big 8!!

Pulled in on a Saturday afternoon 1,000 miles from home with a airflow sensor code on our 2.8 duramax, had just been on some very dusty roads in Great Basin National Park when we got the code, they got to us right away, got the sensor cleaned and cleared the code so we could be on our way, the guys there were so helpful and friendly, we hit the jackpot along way from home, thanks guys!

Blew two trailer tires on a lonely stretch of Hwy 50. Rolled into Big 8 on my spares and in 20 mins they had me a new rim and two new tires mounted. Good hard working people, reasonable prices.

I lost a wheel bearing on my trailer full of horses just outside of Ely at 6:30 at night. Daniel and his crew were great and finding a solution to get me off the road with my horses at a fair price. Much better service than another company in the same town. Thank you guys!

Excellent customer service! I drove into Ely while on a long trip and suddenly had a screeching noise coming from one of my wheels. Within 20 minutes the technician resolved the problem at no charge! It was late in the day, however Big 8 was open and they immediately waved me in to their garage, lifted my vehicle up and asked if I'd been driving any unpaved roads. I thought it was a brake pad, but sure enough I had just driven scores of miles on unpaved highway. The technician removed and cleaned debris from each wheel until finding and removing a rock scraping the rotor on the fourth wheel. They've got a great group of guys working there! I couldn't be more pleased and grateful for their speedy help!!!

Was on a trip back from Cour D'Alene, Idaho. A 16 hour drive back home to Vegas. Not sure how I made the trip up there, didn't realize how poor my tires were.
Paid the price. Got a flat on my driver side front tire just outside of Lund. Had to turn back around for 50 miles to Ely.
Service was great, they had the tires I needed, it was quick, and the dude was friendly and helpful. Do recommend, they saved my trip home.
Check your tires before a trip. Get them realigned every once in awhile so the metal wires aren't showing.

Absolutely went above and beyond helpful. We had a blowout on our trailer with 700 more miles on our trip. We had put on the spare but didn't want to go without a spare that far. They stayed late to make sure we had the tires we needed. Definitely would recommend.
