The diesel engine in our pickup would not start on the morning we planned to leave Ely. I called D & S Repair and Jennifer sent Troy who arrived in just five minutes. Troy diagnosed it to be a faulty fuel pump housing that leaked fuel and did not allow enough fuel pressure to start the engine. He ordered the new parts for over night deliver. He installed the new housing and new fuel filter the next morning. The engine started and we were on our way. Troy is an Excellent diesel mechanic! I highly recommend D & S Repair if you ever need help with your diesel engine. The fee was very reasonable and well worth the expense. Mike M.

TRUCK DRIVERS BEWARE! This repair service gets you over a barrel and leaves you BROKE! Troy, I believe is not just the owner, but a crook!! I have been a heavy haul driver for 35 years. I have never in my career delt with such an unprofessional and crooked as hell individual. I blew my transmission on the road, and he was my only option. He quoted a transmission for $7700.00 and got a shop rate of $155/hr. I ordered a transmission instead, for $4700.00 new rebuild, and had it delivered in 2 days. Troy was not happy that I didn't purchase his grossly over-priced product. For an R&R (remove & replace) shop time is expected to be 8-10 hrs. I spent 7 nights in a hotel, at $100/night waiting for my truck to be fixed. At end of day 7, the shop called me to inform me that my truck was finally ready. Upon arrival, I was presented with a $2600.00 bill for shop time. 16 hrs! In all reality that is enough time to do an R&R on 2 trucks. This man had no other trucks or vehicles ahead of me for 7 days. The reason is DEFINITELY CLEAR! Locals had nothing positive to say about this man, or his business. Now, back on the road, with a bad vibration, and brand new rear transmission seal leaking. Not only that, but U joints have pieces missing. BEWARE!

On our way home to California. We had a coolant leak. They hopped on it found the problem quickly. Had us back on the road and didn’t break the bank! Highly recommend’

OTR truckers please avoid this shop. This guys are disgusting, disrespectful, unprofessional, ignorant, rasist as well as con artist!
My truck was towed b/s of air compressor to this place on saterday. This place was closed until Tuesday because of the holiday. I just ask my friend to bring the part from the dealer. Once I got the part Tuesday morning I have tried to talk to this guy with beard acted like I wasn’t welcome to their shop. Every time I was trying to talk to him he just ignored me as if his doing it for free! I was bugging them to fix my truck and finally the job only takes maximum 4 hours of labor but the charging me around $1,300. Not only that they cut the coolant hoss & brake oil temperature sensor both of them was new not even 3 month old. Once I left their shop with out knowing it on Wednesday night the coolant start leaking with in 10 miles. When I checked the hose it has a big cut. However I had the hose which I quickly changed by my self. After another 25 miles the oil temperature sensor shows the truck running out of oil. When I checked to dip stick I have enough oil but the sensor was broken as well as the hose that goes to the crankcase to you all witness I have attached Video. which is right under the air compressor.
I know this guys don’t even care about the way they run their business after I saw the reviews. I’ll attached the pic & video just to give the viewers an idea!

Still waiting on a refund for a botched job on wheel seal and bearing. We agreed on fair price but have yet to see payment 3 months later.

I brought my vehicle for an issue. When leaving not even 5 miles issue happened again. I turned around issue went away by the time I got back. I left again not even 14 miles issue happened again. They were closed i had to wait all night in the cold. They came next morning and did the same thing they did the day before. They charged double the bill. I questioned why and asked to speak to boss. They said we are not sure we fixed your issue but it's either pay or we call the cops. The absolutely worse busisness practice I have ever seen. Stay away!!!

I wouldn’t use this place. They have no knowledge of a newer diesel or how to fix them. They blame every thing on tuning or being deleted. It’s definitely lack of skill and being uneducated. The owner is the worst. I fixed the problem on my own after taking my truck in and dealing with these clowns. Hey guess what it wasn’t due to tuning or being deleted. It was a wire harness issue. Don’t waste your time with this shop.

Very disrespectful. I asked the mechanic in front a couple simple questions and he responded in “didn’t you just talk to the lady in the shop” I never spoke with the women in the shop and I felt like that was very unprofessional of them to treat their customers the way they did. They also didn’t seem to conserned about work they were all in the shop on lawn chairs smoking cigarettes.
