Ok, it's in a casino, but it's kinda separate. We were the only ones there, which was kind of surprising bc the food was quite good, authentic, great price, and the staff was super nice.Parking: Parked on the street right out front

Stopped in for a bite. The El pastor tacos I had were very good. My husband's Carne asada burrito was average. The chips were fresh and light. Average price.

poor execution of Mexican food. No spice, very bland. Could not get a beer, Mexican or otherwise, in the restaurant would have to go to the casino bar in a smokey area to get one. definitely not a 4 star place.....

Excellent service and excellent food. Large portions, and classic style servings. The whole beans in sauce are a good addition. The relleno was solid if a little cheesy. The fajitas were well seasoned and tender. Open until 9, so longer than most.

While driving thru Ely, stopped for lunch....11:44pm. Nobody eating in restaurant....uh oh....Ordered the cheese enchilada and ground beef taco combo plate. The food came out piping hot. First thing I did was taste the beans... They were absolutely fantastic. The rice was next, and I would give it a 6-10. Taco was a 7-10, enchilada 10-10. Bottom line, great food. I would definitely eat here again without hesitation!

In the sleepy town of Ely, there is only a handful of options when it comes to dining out. During my stay I tried just about every option Ely has to offer. I was very impressed with the lunch we had at Juanita's. Don't go for the service :) it seemed more of a takeout with the tables looking very worn showing the age of being in a casino restaurant for decades. The host/server/cashier/cook wasn't very enthusiastic when we asked to have a seat. The dine in menu is the takeout paper menu. It was odd seeing pizza and tortas on the same menu. I opted for my standard, chili relleno burrito. We also tried the hard shell tacos, churro, rice and beans and the chips and salsa. The food was outstanding. Salsa was FIRE. The chili relleno was on point, stuffed in the tortilla with rice beans salsa and cheese. The hard shell tacos were so good with a simple lettuce, cheese and ground beef that we had to get a few to go, so we could snack later. My suggestion, don't go for the experience, go for the food.

Come for the food, stay for the company! Family owned business and this married couple knows how to treat their guests! Chile rellenos and pizzas are my favorite so far, so it's great for the whole family.

Staff is friendly. Food was served quickly. Prices are reasonable. What ruined the meal was the disgusting guacamole that was served. It is a gray, crusty mash. It must have been sitting overnight. Inedible guacamole! Please do better.

Went for lunch solely on the Yelp reviews. This is a cute little place that opens at 11am...Went up to the counter and ordered chicken taco and chicken enchilada platter, and hubby got a bean cheese and rice burrito. When asked about sauce we asked for the hottest one and it did NOT disappoint. This food is authentic and absolutely delicious! We were planning on hitting Margaritas for the evening..so it was going to be a double Mexican meal day for us....the other restaurant does not deserve its four star rating..you will see if you look up a separate review on them. Please keep this open..it is so reasonable and just such fantastic food..their beans are just incredible.

Passed thru Ely for the first time. We were hungry and happy we found this place. Our enchiladas and tacos were great. I recommend this place if you go thru Ely.

Green chile "wet burrito" had Chile and sauce on the outside of the burrito. The tortilla was great--fresh, pliable, and not too much. But the inside was only maybe 20% chile verde. The rest was 3/4 rice and a few beans--not refried, but pinto beans. Nothing wrong with that except you'd expect a chile verde burrito to be mostly chile. It was good enough. The rice had other vegetables thrown in--chopped carrots, corn, and even peas for some reason. Personally, I'd prefer the rice and beans on the side. But then, we'd have an enchilada! Chips with tomatillo salsa (sour, runny) were passable. Nothing special. I guess as I start heading south, I expect Mexican food to be more like I remember from Arizona and California (Sonora style). It's not. It was ok but not special. Not terrible but as an ala carte rice burrito not worth the $8 special price. With a little good green chile verde. Nothing on the side at all. I was not offered any pickled carrots or even a margarita. I might have bought one. And no Splenda or equal for my iced tea. Sweet 'n Low. Take it or leave it. I left it. I asked for extra lemon never got it.
