Coming from out of state (RI) with failing brakes, we were at the mercy of anyone who could replace them. My husband called Precision Auto and he got a quick appointment. David worked his magic and within 2 hrs, we were back on the road! Thank you Andre and David, Elys honest and reasonable "dream team" in auto repair! Integrity matters!

Avoid at all cost...I took my girlfriend's car in for a new alternator..said would be ready by noon Saturday.. Andre started..then disappeared..no call..no message.. nothing.other "mechanic" on duty was very rude when I asked him to fix or if the other guy was coming back..no information or communication..stay away..

The best mechanic experience imaginable! Andre (the owner) and David really helped me out with my mechanical emergency and had me back on the road the same day! I found them to be both honest and caring and they really saved the day for my car issue. I can’t thank them enough.

Go on your way! Despite a very friendly and warm appearance, the owner dishonestly evicted us.
We had to do a 500 mile oil change during the day, he told us ok in 1 hour.
We give him the oil filter that matches our engine and we wait.
Arriving at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. we were still waiting for him!! We left at 2 p.m., without our oil filter of course, because we never saw it again....
Dear Sir, it is better to tell the truth than to escape!

Stay away! Andra the owner asked me to keep my car at his shop for almost two weeks so he could work on more urgent car repairs. He then charge me $970.00 for 10 hrs. of labour for what his mechanic said should have been a three hour job! (Great mechanic BTW) But I will NEVER go back. While I was waiting for the repair, he disappear for three days and nobody could find him. I even looked for him, never ever again.

These guys were amazing ! I was stuck here for a weekend layover and I could hear with my brakes grinding metal to metal. They managed to squeeze me in and replace the brake pads and rotors on a Saturday morning and didn't try to price gouge me with it being an emergency situation and last-minute call. They were very friendly and kept me up-to-date on everything that needed to be done. ? Jessica and Andre

TLDR; Andre: helpful, thorough, informational, genuine.I was traveling through and shot Precision Auto Repair a call to see if they would be able to change my oil.The facility and administration were okay enough, but where my 5 stars was truly earned was in Andre's commitment to total care and education.I get it; I'm a girl in my 20s who didn't know what oil my car used. Andre had me repeat it a couple of times (5W30) as well as brought me over to the car to show where he was hearing an exhaust leak. He was sincere in the way he explained why this problem was important to get fixed. I think I was really receptive to education and respectful of his expertise, and he acknowledged that was patience and education.Anyway. If I ever need to go through Ely again, Andre would be my guy.

Andre replaced my alternator in my Mitsubishi, after an oil leak caused my original part to fail. I dropped it off on Thursday, and they started on it the same day, and had it finished at the end of the next business day (Friday). I had to leave it to travel back home to Reno, and it was a couple of weeks before I was able to pick it up, and Andre made arrangements to keep it safe in that time.Andre is a busy man with a super busy shop, and they deal with a lot of people and issues, so I would recommend being patient and understanding when dealing with Precision Auto.I would recommend Precision Auto, the mechanics are knowledgeable and competent. They charged me a fair price for replacing my alternator too.
