Yes, this is an actual Radio Shack (technically categorized as a dealer), still open in the spring of 2023. Yes, the proprietor, a good natured yokel and sometime town political operator/gadfly, is "the Greek" in question. (There is no Greek restaurant here.) He can and will order in items, if he can find them. This may be the last place within 300 miles to find electronics parts by brick-and-mortar perusal. For these facts alone, this outfit deserves 3 stars. This shop is vintage old Nevadana, as are the delightful cast of characters who wander in and out. Drop in, buy some headphones, or even a small tube TV set.

This place is a hidden gem! Geørge is a highly reputable business man and willing tø help yøu with anything that yøu may need før yøur electrønic needs! Back in it's days this shøp was talk øf the tøwn! It had sø many features packed intø it that it was always busy and bustling with all sørts øf peøple. Nøw these days it's still quite resøurceful før yøur electrønic needs this includes yøur tøp end gaming cønsøles and recent releases øf the newest games. An what he may nøt have he will gladly ørder it in før yøu! Persønally this is my gø tø place whenever I have a prøblem pot questiøn that I need help with. If yøu have yet tø check this støre øut, definitely drøp in an easy hellø tø George! If yøu've gøt a spare few minutes ask Geørge abøut it's histøry he will have a tøn øf støries tø tell yøu!

I needed a couple of inexpensive gifts for a Holiday party gift exchange. George at Ely's The Greek Radio Shack did GREAT helping me out! I bought an inexpensive small pocket radio, computer memory stick, and very small screw driver set to fill my needs. I also purchased a new satellite radio receiver and docking station, as well as a soldering iron and accessories for myself. I picked up more than I expected? This Radio Shack store is still selling electronics to fill our needs. I met some other folks in the store also traveling through Ely who were Happy and Surprised to find an Old Fashion Radio Shack store still opened? My Thanks to George at Ely's The Greek Radio Shack for helping with my shopping needs! I'm looking forward to another visit to Ely's Radio Shack the next time I'm in Ely Nevada.
