About Ward Mountain Campground
Ward Mountain Campground, located just outside Ely, Nevada, offers a clean and modern camping experience in a quiet setting. The campground has been recently overhauled, featuring well-spaced sites with new fire pits, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and level gravel parking suitable for both tents and RVs. Most sites provide good screening from neighbors, and the infrastructure includes good gravel roads and well-maintained facilities. The campground is situated at about 7,500 feet elevation, near a great trail system, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Although water is currently unavailable, this is common during the off-season, and there are reservable and non-reservable options, including some first-come, first-served sites. Restrooms are clean and well-kept, with some of the best pit toilets seen by visitors. The site is peaceful, with cool nights and plenty of nearby trails, though not all are exciting for mountain biking. Visitors can enjoy easy access from US 93, and cell service is available. Overall, Ward Mountain Campground is a well-maintained, quiet spot close to Ely, offering a pleasant outdoor experience.

Nice campground with most sites large enough for large trailers. Mine is 35 feet. Trail system is extensive with bicycle/ hike/horse trails separate from atv/motorcycle. The only thing negative was the water was off for repairs.

Great spot to camp, lots of trees. Plenty of space. Really nice tables and what not.

Lovely campground with plenty of big sites to choose from. Very well maintained with clean pit toilets.
