“We stayed 4 nights at the Sundown Lodge and it was a nice stay. For what it is, I gave it 5 stars. Meaning it is not new, but room rates under $80 and friendly service make up for it. The rooms were clean enough and the bed was comfortable. It is an older property, and some things are a bit warn, but they are making improvements. The location is nice as it is right in the middle of town which makes it right across the street from a good place to eat. The staff was nice and easy to deal with. We would stay there again if need be.
Rooms: A bit warn, but comfortable especially for the price.
Walkability: Located right in the middle of town, walk anywhere within 5 minutes.”

“In Eureka it seems to be the only hotel that is a little more modern than the others. Spacious and clean rooms. Ours facing the street was still quiet.
The only flaw is the breakfast not very varied, for example there was no fruit and the rest is packaged, but you can understand given the fairly remote location.”
